Got tickets for today's game which is one of the closest grounds to where I live after Blackburn but I don't really want to go.
Its howling with wind, pissing down with rain and going to the game is not something I'm looking forward to particularly.
Maybe it's because I'm getting older as being crap has never put me off before but the thought of being as miserable as I was after our boxing day efforts isn't particularly appealing. The way we play you can feel equally as fed up watching us win.

Look on the bright side Dave.
If we lose, Rowett will still be in a job.

I certainly don't want Crouch to start but I fail to see how it could be any worse than the dross we've been serving up lately.

That’s quite a depressing OP but probably reflects how most of us felt on Boxing Day.
What’s past is past let’s cheer up and hope for the best today.

Martina will be the breaking point for me, if I see his name on the team sheet then Rowett can fuck off back to Burton with a mug tree up his shitpipe as far as I'm concerned.

We don't win many games under Rowett but even if we do, it feels like it doesn't mean anything as we are not capable of winning a few on the bounce and getting into those play off positions, you know Rowett will fuck it up like he did against QPR and Reading.

We can't lose to a team fielding Marc Wilson, can we?
Draw minimum.

The only strange feeling I have is that our old ways of making silly mistakes and our defence capitulating like earlier on in the season could start to rear it's ugly head again especially after that shit show at Birmingham.

If we fail to win today or heaven forbid lose we will be under massive pressure. How many of the remaining games roughly do we need to win to even make the play offs?..12 maybe?

Bolton have 1 win in 14 and have scored 7 goals. We need to be cautious here, they’re dangerous. Hopefully we can hold on for an hour then try to nick something with one of our 2 shots on target.

Been having exactly the same thoughts about the New Years Day game. Bank holiday traffic on the M6 and for what effect - getting totally brassed off. Probably change if we get a result today but at the moment that ‘what’s the point’ feeling prevails 😕

We can't lose to a team fielding Marc Wilson, can we? Draw minimum. Has to be a win FM, nothing less. They were utter garbage at our place. They have no players with any real quality. We should walk this game and if we don’t, serious questions must be asked.

We can't lose to a team fielding Marc Wilson, can we? Draw minimum. They are saying the same about James McLean , Martina , Afoebe , etc , Wilson after all has played in a fa cup final , and was a regular in a top ten premier league team he’s also not bad on the prediction front the first leak on some defensive coaching

We can't lose to a team fielding Marc Wilson, can we? Draw minimum. The league table would suggest we shouldn't. However... This is Gary Rowett's Stoke City, a team that just about beat the team who are stone dead bottom of the table, and makes every other team in the league look like Barcelona. It would not surprise me one iota if we lose this one 1-0 by yet again, deploying a team that has no attacking threat whatsoever. Prove me wrong, Rowett, I'm at my wit's end with you.

I certainly don't want Crouch to start but I fail to see how it could be any worse than the dross we've been serving up lately. I think it’s give us another dimension. Agreed he shouldn’t be the answer but he probably gives us as good a chance of creating and scoring as any of the others, and this is why we need a striker 😂

We just don’t play to their strengths. It’s like asking Usain Bolt to run a marathon then wondering why the fuck he doesn’t win.

That said I’ve not seen much to make me think he can do it this season, regardless of our style of play...
