Surely there’s a massive backlash waiting for Coates and his Cronies and rightly so.
There’s an abundance of free tickets available to me on match days, which in truth the sheer thought of watching such utter crap and actually wasting a full day makes me shudder.
The silence from our owners and their puppets is staggering, lessons learnt my arse, its a simple case of carry on regardless.

Take away the constant supply of free/ £5 kids tickets and the new corner would be empty

I'll renew because frankly, I'm a mug. But if I wasn't a ST holder, I'd be seriously considering saving my money on matchday tickets and there's not a chance I'd commit to a ST at the moment.

I go down with a group of 10 lads and decided not to get a ST this year on the basis that there is always the odd spare ticket available plus got new born baby and wanted to see how things panned out.
There have been tickets free every game this season, some of them literally cba going ( these are guys that have had STs for 15 + years ). Not asked how many will be renewing, but this might be the year that a few of them give it a miss. TBF a long way to travel for us as well but still, very depressing times

My brother has missed a few games this season and I can’t even give his ticket away some match days 😂

I was only chatting to the bloke next to me against Millwall saying that all things considered, the support's held up quite well, despite the relegation. Better than either of us thought it would.
For now.

TBF a long way to travel for us as well but still, very depressing times We are in the Championship now not the Premier League so it's not exactly a surprise there are spare tickets each week. Our average attendance the last season we were in the Championship in 2007/08, which was our promotion season, was 16,823. Our average attendance in this cluster fuck of a championship season so far is 24,445.

Do they count attendance based on tickets sold or bums on seats?

Do they count attendance based on tickets sold or bums on seats? They definitely count all season ticket holders

7 of us but deffo not renewing. Seen the shit years 80’s onwards but we had no money and excepted it. This season we have money and are the highest spenders. Plus the players already there should be enough. But employing a dinosaur like this clown Rowett enough is enough. Coates is Coates, anyone who supported the club in is first balls up knows what he is!!😡 away games only next season!!!

I will be renewing simply because in the 80s/90s i couldnt afford one and dreamt of the day i would be able to afford one. It isnt ideal, it has been rubbish for 2 years now BUT it is still Stoke City.

I followed Stokeas a lad inthe 70s when my dad took me and in the glory years of Macari in the nineties in my twenties, work and family prevented me from going untilHughes arrived and my lad was old enough to be in the city sevens so I had the free ticket and he was hooked which meant I paid for two season tickets each season on relegation I sold him the championship would be exciting and that if you get on a run at the top each week is thrilling! How wrong was I he’s now becoming more and more frustrated with the dour shire Rowett is turning out and I don’t think he will do another season in the championship with a season ticket so that means Coates will lose two as I won’t renew mine without him as I’m as fed up as he is and feel guilty for bigging up this season. I also have a cousin who’s been going for more than thirty years with four season tickets for her and her husband and kids and they are now saying enough is enough. Coates needs to wake up and smell the coffee all the effort of the last ten years is now accounting for nothing, he needs to put some pressure on Rowett publicaly and then see how he reacts before pushing the eject button if he’s too arrogant to change

The football is not great, but it was not in the Premiership either, but season ticket sales held up.so I would say the majority of those decideding to not renew or turn up are from the 12000 we gained when we got promoted in 2008.So they are no major loss, just glory hunters like a lot of today’s football fans.

I’ve been attending games for 40 years, ST holder for the past 22, I decided that enough was enough last season despite relegation, it’s the shit show behind the scenes that finally got me to make my final decision.
How on earth can Coates keep paying three clowns to basically run the club into ground is beyond me, well they can do it without my measly 399.
I still listen to every game on Signal 2, which is a chore as it’s really awful commentary but they sum up how bad it really is rather than Radio Stoke who pussyfoot around the glaringly obvious.
I have nothing but my upmost respect for all followers of SCFC but I can’t keep watching something I don’t enjoy anymore my weekends are too precious and fly by quick enough anyway

I’ll renew because other than Stoke my life is perfect, and without it I’d have no source of anger, frustration and despair.

You say they are no major loss when you're rattling round a half empty stadium next season with our better players sold to balance the books. Things need to change very quickly.

I will renew simply because I am a scfc supporter. sorry I couldn't give a fig what keyboard warriors think about me.unless things improve in the 2nd half of the season st sales will drop you don't have to be Einstein to know that. so please don't tell me not to renew or protest I only listen to those that get off their arse and go to the ground.
