Jokanovic seems the stand-out candidate by such a distance and will be in work probably in this league in the next month
QSF (now in megabucks Chinese league) Moyes (almost certainly not interested - he wasn't in the summer) Allardyce (same as Moyes) Pearson (not pulling up any trees in Belgium) Cowley (unproven at this level. Very, very direct) Shakespeare (unproven) Smith (relatively popular name in the summer. Now at Villa) Bruce (looks to be Wednesday-bound) McInnes (doing ok in Scotland) Cook (struggling at Wigan this year) Bilic (didn't want him in the summer, now in cash-rich Gulf on megabucks) Lee Johnson (doing ok) Michael O'Neill (bit dour, unproven in league football) Martin O'Neill (surely a spent force)
Alex Neill (doing well at PNE on a budget) Potter?

IF that list is the final choice my top three would be:
1) Graham Potter
2) Lee Johnson 3) Alex Neil

It's all irrelevant because GR will be here for at least the season unfortunately .

We should be crawling over broken glass to get Jokanovic. Ticks every single box but as you say he'll probably rock up at a club run with vision before long and we'll be stuck with fun time Gary putting more people to sleep than a Swiss clinic for another 6 months.

To the powers that be we're well placed still and they won't give up on their man coz of a Boxing Day defeat away to Bham. Yes we could argue do they witness the same game and performances as we do which they clearly do but get the feeling that they're contented with where we are and won't make another rash mid season change again..

I think the answer, given that list might be no.
Are there any foreign candidates?

Jokanovic would have been my choice in January, Neil would have been my choice in the summer.
Is it too soon to put Stendel at Barnsley in the mix?

Jokanovic is a stand out candidate. I like Johnson as well, I think he would do a good job.
I'd sound out Neville as well. I'd even be tempted by Darren Fletcher with an experienced 2nd in command.
We just have to jettison the bloke in charge.

I think the answer, given that list might be no. Are there any foreign candidates? If the club hierarchy didn't think that the football world ends at the English Channel there would be a whole world of better candidates out there.

Are any others required?
The more obvious Q., though Grapey, is why isn't he already our gaffer?
It's as clear as day that we won't be going up under GR.

Jokanovic on his way to Forest if rumours are to be believed Makes sense. Karanka is in the way out. Some of the above posts are really scary. Neville?! The mind boggles. Jokanovic is clearly the stand out candidate. Alex Neill,Lee Johnson...no better than Rowett. If Jokanovic gets snapped up then I think we stick till the summer when better candidates will be available. The 'anyine is better' argument is bollocks, that road leads to a Lambert or a Pardew.
