Not much noise coming from the board these last few months. We used to get regular updates from Peter when we were in the Premier league.

Has he said much at all since the “what’s all the fuss about” interview?
No? Probably best that way.

They sent us that letter at the start of the season promising us that things were going to be a lot better.
That was the last thing I can really remember hearing from them.
They probably regret sending that out, too.

"Peter Coates: We want a Stoke City squad that can win promotion at first attempt"
" Peter Coates says the positive pre-season response of Stoke City fans is helping him to overcome the trauma of relegation.
He says he is heartened by the apparent positivity sweeping through the club’s support following the appointment of manager Gary Rowett, the retention of Joe Allen and Moritz Bauer on long-term deals and the signings of Benik Afobe and Peter Etebo. He also remains hopeful that goalkeeper Jack Butland will remain number one at Stoke for their first season back in the Championship. “I am really encouraged by what I have been hearing and seeing,” said the chairman. “We said from the outset that we wanted to win promotion straight away and that certainly remains the focus and the aim. “It is really good to know that our supporters are enthusiastic about what we have managed to do so far and we all want to make sure we have a good season. “I know we were all disappointed at being relegated, but at least there is a positivity there for us all to build on. “We want a squad that gives us a realistic chance of getting promoted at the first attempt and we believe we have made a good start to doing just that.”link

Funny isn't it? No end of interviews with Scholes when things (due to no input of his) are going well, but he goes MIA when the situation with his grubby fingerprints all over it continues to rot.

If it was up to me and I had power of attorney over coates and this club, I'd send the old man to a home. Send his kids packing to Bet365 which thankfully is a corp that couldn't lose money if it tried (its a damn betting company) and get to resolving this shit concerning football. They are great fans and good fans of this club who invested loads of money (wrongly) with poor advice and shite decision making surrounding them. Scholes and Carto would have been gone under the Hughes appointment if I were in charge. We'd of had new management since after the Lambert change. To be honest, it is sub standard management here given opportunity after opportunity to let this club down then they all snake away when its bad and pop up when it is good. Shocking management from the Coates and check writers to let these losers stick around. This club deserves every bit of let down as this area continues to fester and rot from within.
Someone needs to say this in a board meeting. If I could come over and see these fucking idiots in person, I'd give em both barrels. A fan from Texas can see this shit from 5,000 miles away.
