Should be a cracking Boxing Day atmosphere. Last time we took this many to St Andrews was under Lou Macari.
Hopefully we'll do a smash n grab on them and get 3 points.
GOAARRNNN STOKE.

Sounds like it may be BMI in for Pieters at full back, otherwise unchanged?
Surely Birmingham can't just sit deep like they did at our place, they will have to come out a bit in front of an expectant bumper Xmas home crowd one would imagine.

It's Brum v Stoke for the sake of pedantry. If Stoke can win this one there are grounds for optimism for a play-off position at least.

I'm not a big fan of Martina nor Edwards from what I've seen, but I guess getting Bauer back in the team won't happen. With that in mind I would pick the exact same team for the Birmingham game as the one you have suggested.

That game under Lou, wow I was there, never been so excited & frightened at the same time. You could touch the atmosphere it was so intense.
We moan about them, but I was VERY thankful that day, at least, that we have a few "boys" willing to fight back when they came at us, otherwise there would have been some serious injures to innocent men, women & children. Bonkers times!!

It'll be interesting to see what impact this game has on our transfer business. If we get terrorised by there pace perhaps it'll accelerate our business in getting a CB in.

Think we’ll lose this one 2 1 but if we have a go and play with the same intensity as Villa then we could snatch something.
Fancy us to beat Bolton and Bristol City though.

Last time i went there, there was a bloody riot Paul Barnes [?] winner in the last minute i believe. Could sense trouble, so legged it to my car after he scored
Got on the M5 with police everywhere, even in the sky with helicopters, search lights on

Not long after our goal Brum had a shot cleared off the line which they were convinced was a goal...ref didn't allow it (rightly so!) then all hell broke loose...

I remember walking to the away section that day that had a small wall and turnstiles with a factory behind it. Tomorrow we're in the opposite end with access from the Coventry Road side. Behind the away end is a railway line I think, so you have to get in from the side.

Could sense trouble, so legged it to my car after he scored Got on the M5 with police everywhere, even in the sky with helicopters, search lights on Funny how you remember little things. Driving away from that game I put BBC Radio 5 live '606' on, and there were several callers bemoaning the trouble on the day. Anyhow one Birmingham fan came on the show and he was saying what a vast and lunatic mob of desperados spoiling for a fight Stoke had sent down to their place and little wonder it all kicked off. Anyway, David Mellor it was hosting the show at the time cut him him off at his knees without so much as a 'by your leave' deeming him to be glorifying the violence which wasn't at all acceptable on public broadcasting!

If Birmingham don't decide to sit back we'll beat them, but if they do it could go in all directions as I see it.

Our form is similar; in fact, ours is slightly better. We seem to play better away at the moment. But I think this has a draw written all over it. 1-1.
