Why play Berahino on his own up front then with 5 minutes to go we end up with Crouch and Afobe up front. Don't understand some of Rowetts logic then again he could turn around and say we won and are on a decent run

Not pretty, but a win’s a win.

Well nicked a goal I mean Fair comment mate, we are definitely under-achieving right now. You were well organised today and made it hard for us in your half, and looked to get forward when you could. From your point of view, especially given the 2 or 3 near misses at the end you'll be thinking you're unlucky to lose. From our point of view we were too slow and laboured in the first half, probably just about deserved to take the lead when we did, then panicked. There's been plenty of games this season we've played better and not won. You look better than your league position suggests. Best of luck for the rest of the season (except when you play us again of course...) Too many games we’re unlucky, unlucky teams get relegated. I’m not complaining here, but how many of our team would get into Stokes starting eleven or squad for that matter? Maybe Romeo our right back, who’s old Man is Jazzy B. When we play ‘football’ meaning on the deck we look half decent. The problem is lumping it up for Shawcross and Williams to say thank you. We did just about alright today but that ain’t good enough. Anyway I appreciated the police escort there and back and your ground is decent. Good numbers as well. All the best. Millwall the biggest small club in the world.

Must say, I came away from today's game feeling pretty similar to the way I felt after the Ipswich game...... A sense of nothing really!!! But, it's 3 points in the bag all the same!!!

Desperately hanging on for a 1-0 win at home to Millwall! FFS don’t give him any money to spend in January. If he can’t get this squad promoted he should get his marching orders, and if he wants to get rid of Bojan next month it should be instant dismissal. We've just won, 10 games unbeaten and 4 points off the playoffs. This is Stoke City Football Club, not the Bojan Supporters Group. Bore off. If you’re happy to watch boring, unimaginative football, you’re welcome to it. You don’t think the introduction of Bojan would make us more creative and exciting? It’s not worth giving our most creative player the chance to have an influence?

I'll say it again, I'll always take 3 ugly points intead of 0 beautiful ones! 10 in a row without defeat, 3 successive wins at home, 8 unbeaten away, a lot of positives here if you want to see them.

Was there a bit of mither outside the Harvester after the game. Walking past there seemed to be some shouting and pushing, some of the law had their batons drawn and the dog unit arrived just as I was going?

May I just say something, I have supported Stoke for over 40 years home and away and even when we had good teams like the early eighties and the macari years we never put away the poor teams which makes it even sweeter when we send the good teams packing. So I am sorry but I am happy with a scrappy 1 nil win v millwall Merry xmas I have to agree with you 100%. If drives you mad.

While I have complete disdain for fighting at football matches (it being about a sensible as arson in a hayloft) I always admired Millwall's "Noone likes us, we don't care" attitude.
As a Stoke fan, the fact that we were the turd in the Premiership pint always made me glow with pride. An unwelcome blot on the polished landscape, a grim reminder that the projected image of a Disney vision of football was as convincing as the 2D town set in Blazing Saddles.
Long may the ordinary people of Britain remain an unwanted intrusion into the marketing vision of the few.

Today you saw the difference between an ex prem team with the likes of Joe Allen running the midfield and a team in the bottom three. We could’ve nicked it late on. Thanks for your comments Londonlion, good balanced commentary throughout. A very scruffy win for my team today, but like you we would all take that. I watched the videos you posted from the Millwall Poet; interesting. “Let them come” he says, and on April 27th 2019, we will come. Not in small numbers (like today) but in large, noisy, visible numbers shaking the stadium you call the Den, we will come, we will conquer, we will be promoted. Millwall will find their level too - league 1. We wont be intimidated, fearsome or meek. We will create more noise than your small SE London team can imagine. Oh yes, we will come.
