There are NO easy games (unless you have Gayle) in the Champo. 1-0, hideous, bit lucky. 3 points. Let's fuck those bluenoses now.

May I just say something, I have supported Stoke for over 40 years home and away and even when we had good teams like the early eighties and the macari years we never put away the poor teams which makes it even sweeter when we send the good teams packing. So I am sorry but I am happy with a scrappy 1 nil win v millwall Merry xmas

Desperately hanging on for a 1-0 win at home to Millwall! FFS don’t give him any money to spend in January. If he can’t get this squad promoted he should get his marching orders, and if he wants to get rid of Bojan next month it should be instant dismissal.

3 points but that was poor fair. We seem better suited to playing away as we really struggle to break teams down that come for a draw. We just don’t have a playmaker who can unlock defences with a bit of magic and if we don’t score early we really struggle. We shouldn’t be holding on at the end. I know we kept a clean sheet but our defence scares the life out of me especially Ryan and Martina. No wonder we sit so deep we just look like we’re always capable of a mistake.

At least we won and for the most part were in control but why do we have to get lucky against these sort of teams? It seems our mind set can't continue playing on the front foot once we get in front. This invites poor teams onto us and they with a bit of luck might have scored.

Today you saw the difference between an ex prem team with the likes of Joe Allen running the midfield and a team in the bottom three.
We could’ve nicked it late on.

3 points 9th place Winning streak Play off places within sight And we're not playing well Imagine if we play well what can be achieved We have the best squad in the championship We do have some excellent players but we have some huge holes that need filling too. We have to get a pacey CB, playmaker and pacey wideman particularly for home games as were really struggling to break teams down. A Steven Ireland type of players what’s needed if we continue to play a 3 in midfield. Allen Woods or Etebo Playmaker Would give us more balance with Clucas or McClean on the left.

Well nicked a goal I mean Fair comment mate, we are definitely under-achieving right now. You were well organised today and made it hard for us in your half, and looked to get forward when you could. From your point of view, especially given the 2 or 3 near misses at the end you'll be thinking you're unlucky to lose. From our point of view we were too slow and laboured in the first half, probably just about deserved to take the lead when we did, then panicked. There's been plenty of games this season we've played better and not won. You look better than your league position suggests. Best of luck for the rest of the season (except when you play us again of course...)

Scrappy win - we look far more convincing playing away rather than when we have to unlock teams at home. Still, a wins a win and we are well in the playoff mix at Christmas. After seeing our utterly dire defence during our first few games, I thought the season was probably going to be a write off, so overall I'm feeling pretty positive in general.

Managed to get over the line despite playing poor Millwall should of been 2-0 up a team with better quality would of put us to the sword! I don't think we'll get anything at Birmingham so today's win was crucial.

www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/11589201/stoke-1-0-millwall3 points is always very welcome, no matter how ugly. Highlights indicate we were quite lucky to survive in the end. There were too many times my heart was in my mouth expecting them to score or the ref give a penalty against us. It seems incredible to me that we can have 2/3rds possession and they have more shots! Statistically we still have a chance of promotion but our form, tactics, and commitment say otherwise. It seemed to me at times Millwall had twice as many players on the field! They fought like terriers. Today was so much like the Ipswich match, so flat and lifeless for most of the time. In the first few minutes our defence were still "sitting in the locker room, looking at their iphones". A few other teams did us a favour today, so all in all it was a step in the right direction and a huge relief at the end.
