All the other players that do it too or just McClean? I’ve never seen a player fake outrage at the ref to cover up embarrassment as much as McClean. That may be due to McClean consistently having more to be embarrassed about. You've never seen John terry or Wayne Rooney play then to name just two?

Dear Santa, please give SCFC a natural goalscorer for Christmas 🎄 We don't necessarily need s natural goalscorer. Just a physical presence who can run quick and control a ball Some attacking football will do it tbh

We dont look like we have got any confidence going forward
We started well, and they look poor, but they have been energised by our ponderous approach and realised that if they press us harder we are vulnerable in midfield and at the the back.

Draw imminent. You can just feel it is going to take a monumental fuck up from either side to will it over the line.

Think we've defended well so far, and played well enough on the break without ever stretching Villa either.
We're missing that bit of spark up front.
If we can push up a further 5-10 yards through midfield and force them to use their centre halves a bit more we'll get some joy out of them as they are taking some silly risks.

We always stop, look up and look around to pass instead of keeping head down looking to move them back or take a man on, its a damn plague at this club. Bera could've taken Chester then near the end of the half but he did the usual.

Don't know if the conditions are making it difficult, but it's certainly not been the prettiest of matches. Villa's tactic is to harry and pump it into the box whilst ours seems to be, well, I'm not too sure to be honest. Certainly had the better chances in that half but 0-0 is fair considering both teams have been pretty poor.

What's happened to Ryan Woods? He looked brilliant his first few games for us but he is consistently giving out poor passes every game now.

I agree but that will change when Rowett makes some substitutions

Stats. Villa ... 4 goal attempts... 1 on target Stoke ... 7 goal attempts ... 3 on target That's probably our best half time stats this season. Their forwards look dangerous, but their defence looks very fragile.

Ince has done it more times in this game than McClean has. Okay I'll break down what I meant a little bit more. McClean is an absolutely atrocious footballer with a very limited skillset. Because he isn't capable of producing much magic (unlike Ince), he pretends to be absolutely furious at the ref when he inevitably fucks something up, in order to try and fool his teammates, people watching, and maybe even himself into thinking that it is the refs and linesmen who are stopping him from being good at football. It is the fact that he is so obviously lacking in skill that makes his faux outrage funny to me. Sorry if you disagree.

Our forward is hung out to dry unless they run a marathon every game at the pace of usain bolt ! And the lack of pace on the wings is appalling!
