Not one of those players could get in a Sunday team..... Couldn't pick one out who was any good. Here we go let's have a moan for moaning's sake but unfortunately, for you, you have revealed how you lack knowledge about the system. It is extremely unlikely that more than one or two of lSt night's team will make it into the first team on a regular basis. This is the U21s squad not a reserve team, losing to Vale wasn't a disgrace or an embarrassment it was literally boys versus men, so get over it. Who will be the target next time?

Honestly... Nathan Collins is 17. Hes shit mate, not good enough, get rid 17 year old child and you say that, how about getting behind the kids, that is probably the only time you have seen him play. Grow up man.

Tom Pope makes me laugh giving it the big one as if he was going up against Chiellini & Bonucci, when he was playing against kids. Still, he’s used to battering women about so bullying a few kids will have felt like a normal day in the office. It was definitely the biggest match Tom Dope has, and ever will play in. Probably still knocking one out over his shirt up celebration as we write.

Are some posters forgetting that the vale team has years of experience between them? Players like pope are decent low level players that have been around the block. They were just too clever, too seasoned and at this moment too good. The young lads showed glimpses of decent football. The major let down was the goalkeeper, absolutely appalling. But the others will gain valuable experience from that. It should at least give the "lets give youth a chance, they can't be any worse" crowd a wake up call. Vale are no great shakes - but experience means a lot at the professional level. Put an inexperienced team out in the Championship and the outcome would be horrible.

There's no guarantee that any of them will get professional contracts. The majority of them already have one.
