IMHO If anyone thinks the trouble was football related they’re living in cuckoo land. My crystal ball tells me this was more about an opportunity for the Meir, Longton, Stoke, Vegas, Knutton, Chesterton etc to have a ruck against Burslem, Chell, Tunstall, Norton etc.
The damage was by inbreds within our society who have no self-respect for themselves, anyone else or property of any description.
I’ll wager the largest percentage of those involved are the 2nd/3rd generation of an underclass that doesn’t give a FF about anything or anyone
You can bet your bottom dollar as Xmas approaches and partying goes full steam ahead in Newcastle, Hanley and Burslem there will be a “carry on” from tonight.
Its sad, it really is!!

Whilst I do not condone it you are naive if you think that it wasn't going to happen tonight, whatever the circumstances, and if you don't think it happens at other derby games. I just don’t think we should be so willing to dismiss it. It should be discussed and should be abhorred. I’m sure it does happen but not always to this level and not at “99%” of Derbies The Copa Liber-South America or whatever it's called has been moved to another continent because of fan violence. This sport attracts certain men and brings out certain emotions in them, it always has and always will and whinging about it on social media just makes it worse.

I’d hope to never see that level of violence in the UK, its fucking mental. Literally murders. Not good.

I didnt go tonight, but I am surprised that people are surprised by what has happened...our fans went to take the piss, so trouble was pretty much certain...however the piss take may have fallen flat too. Im weary of some our support, but if I look back over the decades has it ever been any different?, it seems systemic, part of the culture of the city, and almost unbreakable and impervious to national change That away end was carnage mate, must of been 70% lads on it Like what happened or loathe it, It was one hell of an atmosphere on there The blokes who took kids with them will think the atmosphere was terrifying. The scum who will revel in smashing up bogs and throwing bottles will be buzzing. Opinions eh?

My eldest was baffled as to why people behave like that. We did leave on 75 mins to avoid post match chaos, through broken glass from toilet Windows. Like you say the nutters who defeated a wash basin will be proud of themselves, until there mum's see their mugs on tomorrow's sentinel.

On a lighter note, why have I got visions of Will from the Inbetweeners "I couldn't help thinking that a shit on the floor would have cheered the place up a bit"

The youngsters are like the first team. Toothless! Admittedly it was men against boys but we got in some good positions, but nobody is willing strike the bloody ball.
One thing I will say is if that haugaard is a goalkeeper I’m lord lucan!! He is absolutely appalling and needs releasing ASAP.

Oh and well done for justifying another load of police restrictions on the normal, regular away supporters who will now have to put up with a load of shit - fully justified based on this latest load of knuckle dragging fuckwittery.

I am just pointing out it is an historic and worldwide problem. The same disassociated and oppressed political class in Buenos Aires as in Stoke. Football remains a working-class sport in this city and will continue to attract tribalism and anti-social behaviour like it did tonight. You wouldn't get this behaviour at a rugby match because rugby fans are generally speaking, middle-class. I know I'm hardly splitting the atom on the psychology of football violence here, nor am I suggesting you automatically behave in such a manner if you are from a working-class background, I just don't know why people pretend to be shocked. They are fuckwits, absolutely, I don't think they deserve to be called inadequate though. I pity them.

Nonsense, there's been lots of needle between Vale and mostly Stokes younger lot these last few years with plenty of incidents mostly in Burslem, tonight it spilled over, was always going to happen unfortunately.
