Stopped the ball going over the bar and puts in on the Liverpool players head. Makes Jacks mistake against Leicester look like a decent attempted save 🤣

Plonker Pickford strikes again
He's a decent keeper but always got a f*ck up in him

He really not that good a goalkeeper is he. Jack must be keen to get back to the prem and put so one real pressure on him.

Bizzare goalkeeping, if he'd ignored the thing it was a goal kick

he's a liability always thinking he's better than he is. To be honest don't get his kicking either, it's not that great as today testified yet again.

A very strange and bizarre end to a game is all I can say.
Liverpool can probably not believe how lucky they are.
As postscript, I thought the Referee was excellent. A rising star ?
As much as it pains me to say it , Mr Dean at Arsenal did well also under very difficult conditions.

Jack must be sick to his stomach every time he sees that clown is ahead of him for England. Made a good save vs Shaqiri but his kicking was woeful and was calamitous at the end.
Saying that, the premier league must be celebrating tonight as it means man city aren't 4 points ahead of Liverpool.

His problem is, if he played in high heels he still wouldn't reach his crossbar. He makes shakiri look like Peter crouch 😁

That clown is ahead of him because Butland has been pretty woeful since returning from injury. He got away with 1 yesterday when he came out too far for a cross and the ball came nowhere near him. Was Pickford's mistake any worse than Butlands v Leicester ?

Surely Klopp is in trouble after his pitch invasion when the goal went in - not slighlty on the pitch but ran all the way over to the Liverpool keeper to celebrate.
Let's see how the FA deal with him.

He always takes his eyes off the ball. That is why he regularly palms shots back into the middle of the goal and why he made his mistake today.
His kicking really isn't that good either.

That's what's been widely reported anyway.

I tweeted that this latest mistake by Pickford will be conveniently forgotten by Gareth Southgate. We must remember that he is very young and will make mistakes like he did against Spain recently.
Klopp should have been sent off for that pitch invasion. What message does that send to supporters!

Shit happens. He's a good keeper and still only a baby at 24 in goalkeeper terms. He'll recover from it and be the national team keeper for many years. Butland has done well here to recover from relegation to put in some very good performances recently. England are in good hands and we have a few good options.
One keeper I don't rate is McCarthy at Southampton. I think he's garbage.

Was Pickford's mistake any worse than Butlands v Leicester ? When you say no where near do you mean quite near, in fact so near he caught it but dropped it. Never criticise a keeper who drops a cross like that as it takes balls to come in the first place and that's exactly what Jack has been missing

An issue is the fact Burnley have 3 England keepers and their #1 is a keeper that will likely never play for England again. Heaton needs to move in January as I rate him as a very good goalkeeper when he's fit. I'm not sure Pope will walk back into the team either as Hart has done quite well for them even if Burnley are wank right now.

If you cut Butland and Pickford in half and meshed Butlands upperhalf with Pickfords legs then mashed a 50/50 mix of the brains you'd have a world class keeper. The other bits would probably still juay about cope in league 2. Now where's Victor Frankenstein when you need him?? 🤣

Getting cocky is Pickford, and he’s a disaster waiting to happen every time I watch him..... He does come across as cocky and I do think Butland will replace him as England keeper sooner rather than later. These last few weeks Butland has got his head down and is recovering the form he showed when he first broke through at Stoke. Butland is the most important player we have at the moment and need to desperately hold on to him in January if we have any chance of making the play offs.

There is no chance of Butland replacing Pickfords while he is slumming it in the Championship with us.
