So one thing today proved is there really are some poor sides in this league, still physically sick we didn't get 3 points out of that - but tbh it served us right, we could have won it 1-3 or 1-4 and we certainly should have been able to close them out at 1-2. Not sure I agree that Rowett bottled it with the subs, going at it gung ho that late on and only one goal in it would potentially have been more harmful. Hindsight's easy but I'd have kept subs to a minimum today, just pushed on as we were as far as possible.
In spite of that... we're starting to look bloody good, there's so much evidence of positive patterns of play, a squad that's properly bonded - 3 or 4 more points and we'd be well set to attack the play-offs, decent run through December and Jan and we can close that gap. We'll be getting effective enough to seriously worry opponents soon at this rate, then we really will be in business.
7 from me
add * if you were there please
(sorry this is late today, no excuse just rubbish time management)

Before the subs he was a nailed on 10. We started brilliantly and created numerous chances. I'd go as far to say it's the best we've played this season, albeit against dreadful opposition.
We certainly didn't deserve to go in 1 nil down and were well worth Ince's goal to take the lead.
There are no excuses for the subs. None at all. It handed the rest of the game over to Reading and we paid the price.

Sorry but he’s cost us 2 points today with his turgid mindset. Clucas, McClean, Allen and Afobe were knackered in the second half and we were crying out for Diouf or someone to put themselves about and help play the game in their half.
Instead we ended up with a centre back at left back, a right back at left mid and ceased to pose any attacking threat. Any manager who brings on Fletcher and Williams against a poor Reading side deserves all he gets, especially with the resources that he has at his disposal.
Until he rids himself of this petrified, negative mindset, we’ll be stuck in this league. That was an utterly pathetic display of incompetence.
Still absolutely fuming on the train home.

6*
Thought the team was set out well initially, considering the team put in a big effort less than 72 hours earlier. Should have taken McClean off for Berahino early 2nd half. The subs were shocking, unnecessarily inviting pressure which lead to the goal.

6, Difficult one really, dominated the majority of the game, his line up worked well enough, but then came the last sub which totally ruined the good work that had gone before, he needs to be more positive in those situations and trust his players, tempted to put a lower score but I'll be kind for now.

4 from me totally fucked up with the negative subs, should have taken JM off a lot sooner and bought on Saido, should have bought Williams on for Pieters and switched BMi over to the left. We were well in controll of this match and should have won by a wide margin but the managers habit of shitting it when we should have been camping in the opposition half for the last 10 minutes cost us 2 points. Gouranga.

Reading were so bad that you could send our team on the pitch without a manager and we would have got 3 points today.
He's holding back the team with his negative bullshit because he's too frightened of losing games.

As much as I like reading the ratings posts, maybe the commentators should be asking Rowett after the game, on the strange and defensive substitutions

He was cruising to a comfortable 8.5/9 from me then he totally bottled it the gutless twat with at least one cowardly shithouse substitution! Anyone awarding more than 5 is fucking mental and wants to have a look what they would have given Hughes for the same!

Got to be a 3. Although he got the first three quarters of the game right and we'd have been out of sight had we not missed so many easy chances, the facts are we went into that last portion of the game only one goal up and he blew it with his lack of game management. Why invite pressure from a poor team who have offered little threat all game? Just keep doing what we've been doing, take off tired players and see the game out. Stupid, stupid management.

4 Rowett's tactics screwed up what was seemingly a routine victory against a poor side. We dominated and they hardly looked threatening then Rowett is back to his batshit subs again and we chuck away 2pts which we desperately needed. How posters can give 6 or 7 for such an inept attempt at game management is beyond me

2 from me. Everything started fine but everyone who watched that game (apart from Rowett) could see they were there for the taking, a weak team that struggled to play against us and all we needed was some more pace up front and a player to hold up play for Ince to run at their defence. And he had a player on the bench but totally f****d up our team with his pathetic subs. It's very hard to score goals from your own half so why do Stoke managers think the best way to hold onto a lead is to let the opposition get into our box. At the moment I am struggling to see how Rowett is an upgrade over Hughes.

It was an 8 from me till the subs. Sorry very poor & negative game management from Rowett gave the game away & felt like a defeat in the end. So its only a 2.
