Mick McCarthy for the Ireland job, now that really is a step backwards, what are they thinking!? I disagree. I think McCarthy is a good manager. His record is always ignored and is good. He did well at Ipswich and look at what has happened there since he left. It only started to go downhill because they are absolutely skint and couldn't offer him any budget for players. He got them in the Playoffs twice despite that. He would have been better for us than Rowett, I'm absolutely certain.

Just wondering anybody think O neill would get more out of our current squad than Rowett. He was approached over the job before Lambert & apparently turned us down. Joe Jordan would get more out of this outfit than the Chancer we have at the helm.
