I thought he was good, don’t get me wrong - but at every point I always think Bojan would be better.

The theory that once he got his first goal the floodgates would open has gone out of the window. Does some decent stuff but we need someone who is clinical in the box.

I do like bojan, but he hasn’t really set the world alight since coming back, and he’s no winger, I do think bojan is the best attacking midfielder so should be playing behind afobe, all three of the midfielders do similar jobs

I always thought he was a straight down the line goal scoring forward and hence his phenomenal salary and our endless pursuit of him.

I thought he did well today and worked his boots off defensively. He looked shattered when he came off.

Seen him do that a few times for WBA - even against us. He shakes things up a bit.

Berahino worked extremely hard today and I was impressed with his tracking back and defending but his finishing and first touch still look very suspect to me.

Good performance from him today. I'd have preferred him playing right behind Afobe though, he's not a wide man for all his endeavour.

I really am missing the love-in on here. He didn't do anything different to McLean, except for fluffing two good chances.
We are so desperate for left wing options.

Would like see him given a run up front. Event if he’s moved from out wide for the last 10 minutes with Crouch.

Unfortunately he doesn't score enough goals. I think he once went two years without scoring. Despite nominating himself as penalty taker. He has a lovely first touch, can spin his man, but he just doesn't score enough goals.

He’s trying so hard..
He’s actually playing in the position of the player who should be creating chances for him.......if that makes sense

For me he and Diouf are a natural front two in this squad one running people ragged one with a bit more finesse but that would mean gary abandoning 433 and leaving out Kevin Phillips promotion winner can’t see it happening unless there is a dug out change or mass panic

At least he's now started to look like a footballer again. He's fallen quite some way since the early potential he showed at West Brom, but he's starting to look good again.
None of us know what went on physically or mentally to get him into the state he looked last season, but if they've had to do a rebuilding job on him, they're doing it well.
Hopefully the goalscoring side will follow. 'Finishing' was meant to be his natural gift, so you'd hope that would return at some point. If he's used correctly I think it will.

He’s a better option for me than McClean, but I think we could do better, he works hard and has a few good moments but no end product in either goals or delivery. Edwards provided more threat with his crossing yesterday. I’m not ruling Bera out completely, he’s gone from dreadful to ok, just need another level from him

I was amazed when Rowett subbed him.
All game I was thinking Berahino just needs someone like Bojan to spark off, we don't need all three of Woods, Allen and Etebo out there, Boro have no intention of trying to win this game and then at the very moment he brings Bojan on, he takes Berahino off!
Bizarre.

Bizarre. Did think Berahino was tiring but I agree, screaming for Crouch and Bojan to come in 20 minutes earlier but not MacLean As it happens MacLean did put in a very dangerous cross.

Bizarre. It's all been said about Bera above, I just wish he would get a break and hit the back of the net, but we don't have any player relied on to score. Why? The 3 subs went on with 10 minutes to go when TP had made his and shown his hand to settle for a draw. If Rowett wanted to win he would have subbed after 60 minutes, but he was afraid of losing.
