I still maintain that Bendtner’s petulant hacks at Shawcross’ legs in the moments before Ramsay’s injury were the true cause of that incident, something that went completely overlooked by the whole world it seemed.

www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/46076839I guess he still thought he was in the UK where the police can't be arsed with assault unless it has a 'hate' or 'racist' motive then they are all over it. Alas the sentence is likely to be overturned on appeal. Violence rarely goes punished these days. What happened to the cricketer who floored a couple of guys outside a nightclub? Presumably fuck all as he is playing for England in Sri Lanka.

He said it was self defence
Bendtner said the driver threw a bottle or a can towards him and his girlfriend when they left without paying.
Well that’s ok then

Every time when he goes back to Copenhagen to meet his old friends it seems like something goes wrong. Well liked by the boys and team mates, but he really should be banned from drinking. I certainly believe in Bendtner's explanation where he said he just defended his girlfriend, not! As a taxi driver not training too much I would certainly decide to attack a man mountain who does nothing else than to train! I guess the sentence show the real colours here.

His club, Rosenborg, has decided to stand by their man. There's only one reason why they would do that and that's because he's still knocking them in. We could do a lot worse than signing him, a proven goalscorer.
