There is something odd about Quest on my TV, comes out as a square picture in the middle of an oblong screen with nothing to left or right!
Apart from that anyone who thinks it's fine that we are no longer in the big time should be made to watch this tin pot, soul destroying show.

A perfect symbol of our decline.
Fair play to Quest though. Murray and his guests at least seem to rehearse and have an idea about the games they're talking about.

I keep forgetting there's a highlights show for the Championship.

I’ve only watched it a couple of times but found the punditry a breath of fresh air vs MOTD nobbery. It’s let down by poor camera coverage of the game though....like watching tv football coverage from the 70s.

I think it's a good show. They get through treble the amount of games, with far less gabbling and babbling nonsense.
What's not to like about it?

I don't mind the show, given that they're covering all 3 divisions of the EFL I think they do a decent job on the whole, most teams won't be given more than a brief mention.
Last night though, I did find Ian Holloway's sanctimonious preaching about cheating a bit laughable. I've never forgotten how, after one of his players blatantly cheated to get Gerry Taggart sent off he defended his player as being "professional". The hypocritical qunt.

Fundamentally it’s just the goals though isn’t it. All of which have been on Sky Sports News previously so if you have that Channel the Quest show is rather pointless. Plus Colin whateverhisname remains as irritatating as he was on the radio.

Midweek highlights are also on Quest on Wednesdays- league games and Carabao Cup.

Camera work that makes it look like it was shot in the 1970's. Is it just 1 camera set on a gantry somewhere? Great swathes of empty seats. I admit the latter is not their fault but it all adds to a sense that this is not where's its at. Which of course it's not!

It’s let down by poor camera coverage of the game though....like watching tv football coverage from the 70s. Dean Ashton is a good choice for a pundit , he understands lower league football and top flight football, and says it as it is. For me , the programme is spoiled by seven minutes of adverts after every ten minutes of footie . I will happily watch a decent programme on ITV , but daft channels like quest , spike etc , I can't be bothered with the endless adverts so give it a miss

Agree with general view that it's actually a well presented program, helps that Murray does him homework.
