Maybe my eyes aren't as good as they used to be but I thought on the free kick that led to their goal the ref pushed the wall back way too far. The ball was about 3 yards from the D and the ref sprayed the line close to the penalty spot.
Did anyone else notice?

I noticed that three of their players followed the ball in to try and get to the rebound but only one of ours did.
Says it all really.

Exactly this. When it's obvious a team is going shoot directly from a free kick you have to hold your line and be alive to what happens after the kick is taken. Following your man in is Sunday League defending

While accepting that our defending could be better, to put it mildly, my point is that the wall being about 13 yards from the ball made it easier for the taker of the free kick.

Fair enough. Couldn’t really tell from the other end of the pitch and haven’t seen a replay. Just looked strange that it was 3 on 1.

When the rebound came back, it needed a big bruising centre back to get a boot on it. Unfortunately our man on the scene was Bruno Martins Indi.
Indi got away with one in the first half almost exactly the same. The ball bounced around the box, their player reacted, he didn't, they nearly scored.

Bruno had his shirt ripped off his back in their box during the corner just before this, right in front of the referee, as blatant as you’ll ever see. Their keeper kicked it up, a bit of a 50/50, freekick to them that they scored from and a yellow for Indi.
They were fouling every time they went for a header or a 50/50, arm in the back, sly elbow, 2 hands on the shoulders and I think they were only penalised once.

I'd fancy my neighbour's chihuahua to outmuscle Bruno at a set piece

Compete and utter crap. From it's fixture schedule, it's quality, it's officiating and it's fans, it's utter garbage.

Surprised no one’s found a way to blame Butland somehow.

After watching the highlights their goal looks like offside to me! Anyone else thinking the same?

I’m just relieved that we got away with just one dubious goal against us.

This was discussed after the match Rob. One of our defender's went back as well. No real issue at all.

I’m just relieved that we got away with just one dubious goal against us. I can understand that, but I really think a lot of decisions have gone against us so far this season. I know we got a lucky winner against Swansea and a 50/50 decison against Bolton in our favour, but apart from those two I really feel we have been robbed in many games. If this is offside, which I believe, it's another one against us.

Deff offside on replay.the reff thinks the first player next to indi hit it ,it was the player down the side who was offside.

Should be easy to avoid this situation if the ball was placed where the foul took place, then the ref was equiped with one of those laser distance thingies to shine on the ball from where line should be sprayed.....simples!

It was schoolboy stuff from us.
We need a manager who drills the players with defensive training hour after hour, day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year.

Not one to get up in arms about really. What is really unclear to me is wtf he gave the foul (and yellow card) for?? I can only assume there was some shirt-pulling or something off camera on about 6:27 because I can't see anything remotely resembling a foul on these highlights.. The wall was defo a yard too far away as well.
