Big test in what is the fantastic home of Real Betis in Seville
Think Trippier may well start tomorrow with Walker pushing further forward

England are just shy of 5/1, any takers? Worth a bet isn't it, we only played them 5 short weeks ago and were robbed of a draw by a comical refereeing decision at the death. I think it's a real 50/50 game once again.

They are improving and we are getting back to normal, no wins since the world cup, the dream is over (if there was a dream).

Of course he does, he's the new love child of the England team.

Serious I don't think there is much between the top 10 nations in world football. We just saw that at the World Cup where the great and the good fell by the wayside and England contested a semi and Croatia, who England should have beaten at least 2-0 on Friday , the final!

I think France are a cut above everybody else at the moment, Spain / Belgium / Brazil / Germany / Portugal are the best of the rest but there isn't much in it. International football is probably the weakest I've ever known it so Euro 2020 should be great, it's there for the taking for any one of 10-15 teams.

It's the strength in depth that is the most impressive thing about France. They have so many talented players in literally every position.

I agree with that, if you get on a roll and luck out a bit too anything is possible for the top 10-15 nations, in any case knock out football with no replay and penalty shoot outs is a heck of a chancy business.

England lost to the only two good sides they played. They would have lost to a few who went out earlier than them, but had a worse route through.

That's true, England 'lucked out' on the draw and in fact we lost to Belgium twice didn't we? The first defeat did us a massive favour. But that's my point to some degree, KO football is about as chancy a business as sport gets, it's not quite a lottery but it's real hit and miss stuff. Greece won the Euros not too long ago and I'm not even sure they scored a single goal from open play!
