I'm giving this a go in a post Bodyguard kind of way. Heard people(women)at work banging on about it & the girl on the R5 tv critique(who said it was the TVs series of the decade. Well I've done 6 of them & it's a bit childish. It has some of the humour of Peaky Blinders, but what got me was the castration of men. I think if anyone had played so lightly with a similar act of the female form, it would be misogyny.
Any thoughts...💡

We watched it after having finished Bodyguard too, and quite enjoyed it. I agree with your review in that it's a bit childish at times, but some of the humour is very much to be enjoyed. (as is the Russian assasin) (очень приятный)

Once you suspend belief, cctv, fingerprints, someone/ anyone confronting her in these places then it's a fairly stylish and enjoyable romp.

I really enjoyed the episode this week with some fine acting and black humour.

Which token lesbian scene. I saw her in bed with two lads & she vigorously $#@&&ed her neighbor(another bloke)

im swimming against the tide here obviously, as i too had around 4 or 5 recommendations to watch it, and theres very few things Mrs Marwood and I can sit down to watch together This was also our first post Bodyguard attempt but i left it 20 minutes through the first episode - a bit too much tokenism - which i was living with - but the programme for me had the fatal flaw of not having a single likeable character (from my POV) . I can either root for the killer or the cop no problem

It's a stylish lightweight romp with a truly smiling assassin. Really enjoying the slapstick and the humour.

I think I got to the end of episode three before bailing. Great idea and concept but ultimately tries to be too clever for ity's own good. Plus it's got David Haig in it, which is never a plus in my view. I moved on to watching Trust on the iPlayer which is of course completely different and a great piece of television by Danny Boyle that seems to have gone under the radar.

I'm quite enjoying it. It's not one of these overly intense assassin series and the humour just adds to the overall enjoyment.

Brilliant, absolutely brilliant, I howled with laughter

Back tonight. It seems to have won a few awards in the meantime. Different writer for series 2 but still getting similar imdb ratings from the US release to series 1 .

I enjoyed series 1 so I'll probably watch tonight's episode on catch-up and decide whether to continue with it.

Series 1 was excellent I thought and better than series 2, a change of writer can't help. Still better than most things on the box.

I 've just watched the first episode of Series 2 - a bit lightweight, but some good humorous moments.
The whole second series is already on i-player so I'll probably watch episode 2 tonight.

As above there is good humourous moments and it flies past no plot lines really but Jodie Comer's acting/foreign accents are great as long as she does not use her normal accent
