I could only listen on the radio, but it sounded like Adam was surprisingly more effective than Allen and Bojan contributed occasionally but was absent for good portions of the game.

You can only answer that with any sort of conviction if he was the only player omitted from the starting lineup.

We swapped him for Bauer who ran around like a headless chicken, completely ignoring his defensive duties instead.

Yes we missed him ...........
if your idea of watching football is sitting on a park bench whilst watching a complete strangers jack Russell run around the council pitch with a football keeping it close and under control but going absolutely no where with it whilst you smile to your self like a loon
Or
No we didn't miss him
If your idea of football is watching a fat Scottish lad run around like a local pub bully aimlessly trying to take peoples leg off at the knee whilst his older scottish mate scratches his head wondering what day of the week it is
Take your pick the better of two midfields

Played Allen against Blackburn lost 3-2 didn’t play Allen against forest lost 3-2 did we miss Allen? With almost identical goals/ chances created against. It suggests a problem more with the system (or coaching at a push)

With what I witnessed last night I wouldn’t think twice about dropping Allen and replacing him with Adam, he showed poise, aggression, stamina, intelligence and purpose. He may have the pace of a National Grid Pylon but with his range of passing and quickness of thought he more than makes up for that. Etobe and Woods have the requisite energy to make up for Charlie’s lack of mobility.

If I was Rowett, I'd consider trying Woods and Adam since it would give the defence a bit more protection to give them a better chance to get their act together. Then play one of Allen/Bojan/Etebo as the one linking to the forwards.

Bojan ran midfield far better than he would have! Not according to the Radio Stoke commentary (Liam Lawerence) who at times during the commentary questioned his invovement/impact

We missed a competent CB against Forest: just like most of the games this season.
