Seriously??????? Is that true??? Hey rid of this fucking recruitment team now!!!! Lawrence said live on radio stoke the noises he has heard are that Rowett was told to leave the defence its fine and sign attackers and midfielders That would certainly make more sense than anything else I have read. Rowett is never going to say he didnβt get all the players he wanted because that would send a terrible message to the players. I think he just cracked on Saturday and blurted stuff out that he now regrets. This looks just like the mess at Sunderland and we are headed in the same direction. I would not be surprised if Rowett quits or gets fired on Saturday if we concede three goals on Saturday. He looks like a dead man walking to me, which is shame because I honestly believe heβs a good manager in a really bad situation.

If anyone's got the heart? Not sure I have tbh, might come back and add a rating later... So I did come back. The formation was ok, team selection no big quibbles either, I'm not sure how much Gary did wrong tonight in itself. It's just that sheer gutless, lost, always an unforced error round the corner sense the team gives off. Opponents sniff that, like a wounded animal, and the result is what happened tonight. It's not a tactical thing, it's not about player skills, it's not about manager/player communication, at least not on a practical day to day level, it's only somewhat about team bonding - this is visceral, there's a profound fear in the group. It's not the opposition the lads are afraid of, it feels like it's actually themselves, individually and collectively. I don't want to demean anyone living with PTSD by making this comparison but if a squad of footballers can have PTSD, that's what we have at this moment. It's not post-relegation: it's post Sparky losing connection with the team and leading them into shit again and again and again. This collective fear is so strong newcomers are picking it up too. As fans we're maybe not helping by looking for the right person to blame so loudly but we wouldn't be human if we didn't. I said at the start of the season what we need asap is the best sports psychologist we can afford, for as long as it takes, I'm saying it louder now and I do actually know what I'm talking about on this one. I believe Gary is doing the best he can, as Lambo did beofre him, and he's not suddenly a hopeless football manager. The issues here are deeper and less rational, he needs some radical/lateral thinking and some expert help (he also needs Cartwright and Scholes ****ed off imo and that's not scapegoating, just sanity). So for Rowett tonight, after reflection, it's a 4 from Sal * if you were there please and you deserve a bloody medal An absolutely superb assessment of our current malaise πππ― This problem is like a cancer that needs surgery and we need whoever or whatever the cause is amputating in order to save the patient π

I'm guessing the manager will be with us on this. If the chairman is really a fan them how can he not be????
