Don't think I've ever been more wrong about anything in my life. I actually wanted Rowett and was happy when he was appointed, can't stand the bloke now and 5 minutes ago is to late for sacking him. Genuine question, does anyone actually think he'll get the boot over the next week? Me too mate, I was convinced he was the one, even before Lambert. I am so disappointed. Rowett out ASAP Me too. Based on his win percentages at other jobs, I thought he'd do well. For whatever reason, it hasn't worked out here. He's been backed so he can't complain, our position is just not good enough. I don't know where we go from here though.

If he's not sacked tonight or even this week it's merely delaying the inevitable now. He's completely lost the majority of the fans and they won't let it rest, and won't give him or the club any leeway when we concede a goal or lose any more matches.
He needs to be sacked now to give the club time to bring a new manager in and get settled before the next league game.

you would have hoped that our crack team of negotiators and legal experts would have inserted a clause stating they're happy to take x amount of people on the payroll, but no way will we pay full compo if they all fail to do their jobs as a unit. but this is stoke Not sure how you expect that to happen. So, who misses out on compo? not who misses out, more how much of a reduction each would take. you can't bring 7/8 blokes into mgmt and then the results are all awful as no one is doing their specified role properly. other teams manage far better than us with far fewer coaches, so this is GR's little indulgence in having a large backroom staff

"Penalties are an ongoing problem for the club" What an utter pathetic comment that was ... The ongoing problem, surely is a manager that keeps letting players that have missed them keep taking them. Does he think there is a curse over the club? Maybe we should start playing little mix black magic before kick off.

"Penalties are an ongoing problem for the club" What an utter pathetic comment that was ... Yes, another underhand dog at one of his own players, the penalty taker. Additionally, what’s he done about it if it’s obvious

So how do you propose we get them to take a reduction? I agree that it's a huge team, which should be producing far better, but to have a pop for expecting us to have a clause in their contracts that literally doesn't exist anywhere is a bit too much. There is enough to criticise the club for without the red herring expectation of a contractual agreement that you want them to take a reduction. Would you accept this in your work contract, with the justification being "well, we do have a big team"?

"Penalties are an ongoing problem for the club" What an utter pathetic comment that was ... Yes, I thought that. Penalties are an ongoing problem for the manager, the coach, the penalty taker - they are a very small part of some games.

Not sure why anyone is surprised FM, the past should be a good barometer for what’ll happen in the future, Coates isn’t decisive and will be loath to shell out compo/deadmoney.

We've learnt nothing have we? Things will not get any better and a win against Shrewsbury in the Cup wont change anything. The board are accountable as Rowett if they keep him a minute longer.

If true that's an absolute piss take. Hughes' last game for Southampton was a plucky 2-2 draw against Man United, when that happened I thought to myself that would have bought him a few more games here. It's a ridiculous way to run an organisation.
