I mean we've scored in every game haven't we? Something Lambert could rarely achieve. Granted the defence is worse but people are overlooking the fact we are scoring goals.

Given a choice i would take Lambert over Rowett at least he organised the defence better.

Mate you only have to listen to his press conference yesterday to realise he knows full well we're not happy. Those kind of chants are totally counter productive. Like the 'we're fucking shit' one that had an airing yesterday.

We're scoring goals because we have spent 15m on a proven goalscorer and we're playing in a division below. Lambert tightened us up at the back in the best division in the world. I'd actually have him back tomorrow.

Nice guy yes but he was so far out of his depth.

I don't mean to go off on a tangent, but love him or loathe him, Pulis built the squad from the back.
That is the only way.
I have never said this before but I would have the capped one back in a heartbeat now.

I love Stoke fans, the only managers in world football are Pulis, Lambert, Allerdyce.
I'm sick of having shit British managers who play shit football. Fuck me Stoke have a bit of flair about you.

Yeh let's have a bit of flair instead of a solid hard working group of players that we can be proud of and gave us some great times. Boskamp wanted flair and sexy football and we lost 9 home games that season and where did he end up?

Loved watching Brian Clough teams At Derby his talisman was Dave McKay , at Forest Stuart Pearce . We are talking sledgehammer ' take no prisoners ' ruthless defending here . This from a bloke , who played textbook passing football along the deck and with huge success. Doesn't matter if you play textbook pretty football ( Clough ) or textbook horrible football ( pulis ) You have to start at the back .

Made this point after the game to a few people IIRC and no-one seem to take it on-board. Two-thirds of this team is pretty sound.

The more I see of our defence, the more it strikes me that all Lambert could do was to shore up the defence as solidly as possible to the detriment of everything else.
For the past two and a half years we've been giving the opposition tap-ins that would shame a Ladsandads 9-year olds team. I can't blame Lambert for plugging the gaps and hoping that Shaqiri could work some magic at t'other end.

Lambert had an amazing playing career , he won everything and in his finest hour , marked zinedine zidane out of the game out of the game and set up the opening goal, to win a champions league final .He also got Norwich promoted .He is no Muppet .
Nor his Rowett , who has vast experience of professional football , as a player and a manager , though admittedly at a lower level than Lambert .
The point is they are both saying , they have walked into a situation where players are behaving in an unprofessional way
I can't believe they are both wrong .
It's far more likely Hughes scholes and carto , lost the plot and signed a load of poor players with a poor attitude .
Why not get rid of scholes and carto ? change player recruitment ? And go from there ?
I know scholes and carto , think Lambert and Rowett are to blame for everything , and we should carry on paying them loads of money forever .
But perhaps that argument is based on self - interest and they are just lying ???
