Sorry, but are we just forgetting that Berahino is completely and utterly shit because he's finally produced a goal in what 10 years. He hasn't been shit this season, if you think he has, I find it a strange viewpoint. He's been better than what he was which doesn't suddenly make him good.

How can anybody defend this clown? He's useless and caused the club so many issues. Wow he scored a goal and assisted, I could've scored and assisted more if I was given the same length as his contract. The sooner he fucks off the better. Sorry Messi, remind me again which professional clubs are chasing you and your scoring and assisting prowess??

When a footballer plays well, he plays well, does he not?! So, when he comes on the pitch and helps change the game in our favour, why do you ignore that?

He was one of very few reasons we were still in it at that point, he's ruined shit all, if you want to look for blame you should be looking at the other end of the pitch. His contribution is irrelevant. We ended with ZERO points. He had the chance to Win a point and memories of a glorious comeback for thousands of Stoke fans. He fucking blew it and I’m not going to blow smoke up the arse of a highly paid footballer for missing a penalty. To say he ruined shit all is fucking stupid. Had it not been for him, we wouldn’t have been in a position to rescue a point. He made a massive difference when he came on, got us back into the game, and had the balls to step up and take the penalty. I didn’t see anyone else looking too eager to take it. Fair play to the lad - he’s show massive willingness to fight for a place and looks to have put his troubles behind him. Can’t knock the lad at the moment.

How can anyone who calls himself a striker fail to have the basic ability to put away penalties ? It’s ridiculous. I’ve seen Messi and Ronaldo miss quite a few. It happens.

Er, yes...….he basically got us back in the game. As far as the penalty is concerned, I reckon Shawcross should have made Pieters take it - after all, his two goals this season have been crackers!!

How long has it been for him to "play well" and score his first league goal! Yet all these folk love him simply because he was a bit better than the rest of the lot.

He can take one if we're ever winning comfortably, but when we need a fucking goal desperately why the fuck are we letting someone who's consistently shown how wank he is at playing football take it. I don't give a shit about one good performance in a blue moon. He's proved to me already that he's not good enough and he's proved to many other Premier Clubs that he isn't up to it and that's why we're stuck with him and that's why we're going nowhere except backwards.

He has looked good without scoring though and has looked like one of our biggest threats... It's obvious that he has put a lot of hard work in close season and his confidence is starting to grow game by game

The irony is that if he'd not scored, not set up Ince, and not been fouled to give us the penalty, he'd not be getting slagged off as he is. This place is bizarre at times.

Get him starting every game. He's been brilliant this season. I think "brilliant" may be over stated the case a tad, but I also think that he should start every game.
If he can get firing them in, and that is a distinct possibility, he could be our saviour. Without that happening, I can only see the worst happening.

Berahino isn't Messi or Ronaldo. They miss penalties but they're also scoring a goal every game. Like why even compare them lol.
