His contribution is irrelevant. We ended with ZERO points. He had the chance to Win a point and memories of a glorious comeback for thousands of Stoke fans. He fucking blew it and I’m not going to blow smoke up the arse of a highly paid footballer for missing a penalty. To say he ruined shit all is fucking stupid. Bore of man, how is it irrelevant, he scored and assisted the goals that got us in that position, to say his contribution was irrelevant is more than stupid, I didn't see anyone else rushing for it. He’s been an albatross around the clubs neck for 2 seasons. He missed a penalty. He’s missed penalties before which tells me he’s too lazy to practice them. He fucked up. We lost. There is no glory or praise to be had for Berahino.

Why the fuck to players go high down the middle? If the keeper stands still he’ll still save it even the ball is right under the bar, might as well go low if you’re going down the middle.

How can anyone who calls himself a striker fail to have the basic ability to put away penalties ? It’s ridiculous.

I just can't get my head around the fact that he was allowed to take it.
Whatever happened to clubs having designated penalty takers?

He was one of very few reasons we were still in it at that point, he's ruined shit all, if you want to look for blame you should be looking at the other end of the pitch. Thought he played well apart from the penalty miss.
But he owes us so much more than he's given back so far.

Inexucusable from the captain and other experienced players or indeed anyone who was on the pitch against Brighton. However Berahino must seriously decide wether he is in the right job ......or rather people should have made that decision for him.

Why would anyone hate Steve Foley??.....played a major role for us in the early 90s Re today, managers fault for not having a designated penalty taker Afobe is the designated taker but he had gone off. Berahino is on the road to rehabilitation, fair play to him (& the management) however that's the fifth penalty on the trot he has missed,he shouldn't be allowed to take any more.

He played well to get us back into the game.
However there needs to be some calm heads and professionalism and it was clearly missing there. We should be rejoicing a magnificent comeback draw but he ruined it.
Some supporters cant see how much he has taken this club for a ride.

Then tell me his contribution was relevant to our final points tally at the end of the season.

To be honest if I’d missed my last 4 I wouldn’t have the balls to step up to take number 5 so fair play to the bloke.

The people who paid money to watch that game will remember ONLY his penalty miss in 12 months time. I simply think the bloke is someone who ALWAYS flatters to deceive.

He made a decent enough contribution when he came on but if you are a striker , a goal scorer but you consistently can not summon up the composure or skill to beat a goal keeper from 12 yards then it’s got to say something fairly significant. In this case it is that he is one of a large number of players who are robbing a fortune in wages.

This season he’s clearly making an effort so he’s hardly ‘robbing’ anyone at the moment. He’s terrible at penalties and shouldn’t have taken it. But strikers - footballers even - have to back themselves. The decision shouldn’t have been his to make.

Think you’ll find many whom from a young age, or as senior pro’s, have missed penalties, including consecutively. Can’t believe the bashing Bera is getting. Least he had the balls to take it.

Pleased with his effort but still shocked with his inability to execute a basic skill of what should be his stock in trade ie. scoring goals.
