Lad has come home from school tonight with a City 7's pack - free home top etc and a form to claim two free tickets. Wonderful.
One problem, and quite a big problem for me. The game is Birmingham City at home on 20th October. Call me over sensitive but I don't fancy taking a 6 year old to that game.
Has anyone managed to swap the tickets in the past?

Hello, over sensitive I think you are able to switch tickets to the Leeds Utd home game, that’s if you’ve no problem with the folk from Yorkshire.

I don't think you could ever be accused of being over sensitive for thinking about your lads safety. But I think you're being over sensitive here I think you'll be owrate. The tickets will be in the family stand won't they? So unlikely any rogue bluenoses will get in. If you are worried email the club and tell them you're on holiday for the blues game or something, I'm sure they'll swap them. Leeds or Millwall be better?

Give him a proper atmosphere mate....we’ve played Birmingham in the recent past and there’s been no problems

I only experienced it with my kids while we were in the Prem and you were restricted to which games they would allow you to go to (lower category games obvs) but not sure if that is still the case as there will be les demand in this division. The answer is yes though - I am pretty sure I swapped for one of ours but it was a few years ago. They let you swap your season ticket seat for the one game too if you need to.

To be honest, my advice would be just leave it as it is.
They've sold out, home ends will be pretty full, atmosphere will most likely be hostile and that's what it's all about.
There isn't going to be any trouble in the ground. Despite the rumours.
