Right he was gesturing because what a pair of fucktards we have as fans, he moved the ball up to Ince and showed why he doesn’t rush becaUs the ball comes straight back at us, Swansea are a good side and when the players were being booed when paaaimg the ball back is not right and should not happen, and all the people telling the full backs to press, if they don that then they leave gaps

Looks far too casual and uninterested at the moment
Far to slow releasing the ball then hesitant to kick it
Made some good saves second half.

To blame the fans for being a bit tense after how shit we've been at home this calendar year is a bit rich. Some of the chubbing was brainless some of it justified. The players and Butland and in particular, should suck it up. It really isnt befitting of the England Goalkeeper to respond directly to every moan and groan.

Stoke fans moan when Ryan plays the ball long. The same Stoke fans moan when we keep possession. If I were one of our players, I wouldn't pay any attention to us. This is exactly what was happening yesterday, the players were getting booed for not going forward but when we were going forward and losing it they were still getting booed then

A few times though the outfield players just weren't quick enough in getting forward and out there. I saw him shrug at the crowd a couple of times and in fairness I can't fault him, if there's nobody to chuck/kick a ball at then what are you going to do?

Butland does that quite a bit. It's not a good trait in my opinion....whether he's justified or not, it'll one day escalate out of all proportion

It's great to see Jack but land so passionate about our club. Yes he has made a couple of mistakes but who hasn't in the last couple of years. Put it this way every club in this div would love to have him in their team

What do you expect? Butland was clearly instructed not to rush / boot long. He took his time and played it safe.
Yet we've got some imbeciles in the crowd which have to abuse him and cheer ironically. I'm surprised he didn't turn round and give everyone the V's and tell them to shut up / stop moaning so much!
The fans need to calm down a little bit, I know we were all hoping / expecting to steam roll this league but it's not going to happen. There's a big disconnect between the players and fans, and that's down to a few things, which will only get better if the players give 100% and win matches.
I'm praying Rowett has his team now and we can start to all pull in the same direction, and when we do the fans moaning at certain players and ironic jeering will stop. Remember the promotion season and first couple in the Premier league? There was non of this, we were literally the 12th man.

Our back line including Butland are clearly playing to the managers instructions. We are trying to retain possession to make gaps to play through the middle / Woods. Thre is no out ball as we have no target man (Afobe cant head for shit) so we are trying to avoid pumping it long. They are definitely under orders not to take risks or get caught out. I have never seem BMI look so stifled with the ball considering he is probably the best footballing CH we have had.

I'm not sure Ince has the best footballing brain/brain in general. Bit like his dad. Useful player though. Better than his dad. Doesn’t lose it or put in reckless challenges. Will be a great player for us. He's nowhere near as good as his Dad. He does not put any challenges in unless he has dropped a cod, he lost it on the edge of their box trying to control the f****** ball, but did dash back to try and redeem himself but only ended up giving away a foul on the edge of our box. He's had something like 18 shots this year and not one that has led to the goalkeeper having to save it.His finishing last night was from a different dimension and if his name was MBD he'd have been slaughtered. He's a luxury player who has yet to provide the luxury moments.Perhaps you are right and he will come good- we will have to see.

Some of the criticism he was getting from fans for not releasing the ball quickly enough was embarrassing. The ironic cheers when he did throw the ball out (after making a decent save) was out of order in my opinion. The whole atmosphere first half was extremely edgy and nervous in the stands tonight for some reason. It felt like some folk were looking for reasons to slate certain players. I’d must prefer to watch a slow methodical build up from the back rather than the aimless scud missile hoofing we’ve become accustomed to. Our back four aren’t great at passing it out from the back but I’d like us to be more patient and let them try and develop it. Actually surprised to see it as I thought Rowett default setting was launch/hoof.

Crowd has got too used to tuning into moan mode. Losing matches and relegation has bred that.
Supporters can support more for sure, it'll come.

Pretty simple really, a good portion of football fans (as with the general population) are just a bit thick.
When they were booing as we kept possession against a side clearly sent out to sit back and hit us on the break it was unbelievable.

We need to start playing the high energy game we've got the quality to be putting teams under pressure. Most teams we've played this season the keeper releases the ball straight away or looks to. Butland has a look bounces it then pulls his socks up. It's the same on throw ins no one rushes over to take it then eventually when someone goes to take it no one seems to show themselves as an option.

Some of our fans need to have a word with themselves. There was really no need for the ironic cheering. I agree. I've said for years, we have a lot of thick as fuck fans who just don't understand and can't accept how football sometimes has to be played. Booing and jeering when we passed the ball back and square. Funny as fuck when the thick as fuck stoke fans were moaning when we played the ball back and square to then work an opening for the goal. Sometimes you have to go backwards to go forwards you daft fuckers.

Or with so called fans like that I’d just think fuck it and find a new club where I’m appreciated. Whatever became of the bear pit at the Brit where the opposition sometimes got booed for long spells and the atmosphere was electric? now we have a half empty stadium and it’s our own players getting booed. We certainly have no 12th man at present, it’s going to take a few good games to get the atmosphere back.
