I loved watching their little faces when they thought they had scored against us in 1992.

I have hated them since I was a kid in the 70s, I also remember a brum fan walking to halfway on the pitch to be joined by a Stokie from the Boothen and the sight of just the two of fighting while the rest of the crowd watched was quite surreal.

Let's hope common sense prevails and the club take steps to stop the bastards getting tickets with the home fans. Though I doubt they even have such measures these days, like proof of address and such things when you buy a ticket.

I think when you buy tickets for home games they check your details on the database. If you have brought a ticket in the last ten years they will have your details.

Brum was one of them games in late 80s early 90s that you knew was gonna be rough but you still had to go think this is gonna be one of those games where youve got be aware of whats going on around you

I think it will be the older fans that are probably likely to cause trouble at this game. Cannot see this game passing without any trouble.

Got ejected from St Andrews back in the noughties & have hated them & their constabulary ever since. Fans are the filthiest scrotes in the football league. They'll no doubt turn up at Stoke station thinking that they own the place so should be a tasty day. Give me this over a sanitised home game with Watford or Brighton any day!!!

I like Birmingham City and especially their fans, because they hate Aston Villa. I hate Aston Villa as well. And Aston Villa hate you

Just goes to show boys of every generation will try to prove they are men through stupid acts of aggression that only goes to prove they are still boys after all.
At least in previous generations if the boys got their due for acting like knobheads they took it on the chin (ear, head, nose or wherever). Today's lot bleat on about infringement of civil liberties. You really can't act hard and at the same time behave like a snowflake - it just makes "look at me a I'm a man really" behaviour look even more pathetic than it is already.

Does it ever “go off” nowadays?
In the stadium itself I can’t remember the last time I saw any agro. West Ham about ten years ago?
Fair play to Blues though that’s a good turnout and it will be nice to see the away end full for a change, the followings so far this season have been pitiful.

The walk back to the car after that game in 1992 was one of the worst experiences I've had watching Stoke all over the country. wow was it that long ago? Time flies
