Not for me but we're so short of options out wide that's why I was surprised not to see Bauer on the bench again, even us a back up for Diouf and Ince.

Clearly he will be back in the side for Diouf when fit (Rowetts, I bought him so he plays pet). I would put Bauer on the right now and we can forget about that talent-less tvvat for the rest of the season. Defo Bauer for Diouf on Tuesday

I’m going to disagree.
Ince on the right, JM on the left, would have ensured that Diouf wasn’t offside 25 times yesterday.

For me yes. He was excellent v Hull and gives us more balance.

He was missed in the sense that Diouf is still costing us points in The Championship.

He wouldn't have missed the number of chances Diouf did.
Of course he wouldn't have had the number of chances Diouf did.
And would probably have scored the same number of goals.

I think he'd have put at least one of the chances away that Diouf missed tbh

Defo Bauer for Diouf on Tuesday Why does a manager buying a player then playing him make him a pet? Especially when he's played better than others that have started every game so far who haven't been signed by the manager?

Not really.
I can't remember many crosses being put in successfully or not.

Diouf should've been replaced a lot earlier. So in that sense, yes he was missed for not being an option on the bench.

For me No, because with the players we have, I'd rather have Ince on the left, and Bauer on the right!!!

But he was fucked for a period of time before he came off, which is my point of having someone suitable on the bench which we didn't have.

He may not have got into the forward positions Diouf got into to miss chances, but he would also not have been offside so many times to cause moves to break down and would have put in some better crosses. I think we missed him as a natural left winger out there. It is not Diouf's natural position.

Diouf is utter crap out wide, constantly off side, and the sitters he missed makes me wonder who he bribed to convince everyone he's a striker, he had the odd good moment but I think McClean would have been a much better option, he's been playing well recently.

Pick your poison for me, both dreadful on the wing lately, would you rather 25 offsides or 25 crosses into the Q stand? We are missing another Ince like player to push up the table imo.
