when tp came back 2006 to 2007 we got 8 points from 10 games and finished 8th 2 points from play offs so don't write us off yet it took him 2 seasons 2 get us up it may take gr to do the same lets hope he can do it this season I know it looks likely not but I think he will get us going sooner rather than later

Hurrah. That season we missed to many opportunities to get into the play offs, including the last game of the season where we simply drew 0-0 with the hapless QPR. Sounds all too familiar

You are correct. Behind for 80 minutes, talk about giving it your all. Seems we played with 5 or 6 defenders 🤣

Remember Higgs sat on the pitch crying at end and lots of inflatables getting thrown if memory serves me right. Think we needed Wolves, WBA or Southampton to lose and they all spanked there opponents that day to rub it in.

We're hardly comparing like with like. This is a squad which slipped out of the Prem by only 3 points and we have invested £50m in over the summer. TP's 2006/07 squad had a record transfer fee paid of less than £1m !!

Pulis had history of getting teams promoted, disciplined and organised although not pleasing to the eye.
Rowett on the other hand has won nothing and going off what I have seen so far, his management skills, team selection, tactics, subs are shit.

Pochettino at Spurs is lauded as a great Manager who has his team playing exciting attractive football whilst spending little money, now this sounds like a serial title and trophy winning manager and what has he won Nothing ! My point is that all Managers start on their careers with exactly the same record which is zero, fans clamoured for Moyes but his record with Preston,Everton,Man Utd, Abroad and West Ham is Zero titles or cups. On his second coming Pulis arrived a more experienced manager than Rowett, he managed to reboot a Stoke City side by using the loan market and nearly made the playoffs. In his second year well that’s history and we went from strength to strength, How can anybody judge Rowett already the job that he’s been left is to totally rebuild a team that’s sell buy date expired 2 years ago ! Remember we were going to show Pulis the Red Card protest but he proved all the armchair critics wrong with the arrival of Hendrie, Delap & Diao
