There is only one team QPR conceded more goals than Stoke City this season, and they conceded 7 at West Brom.
Shawcross ,Peters ,BMI ,Williams hold your heads in shame ya carthorses.

Whilst we are sharing blame a handful of games into the season, what about Butland or the lack of protection theyve had from a woeful midfield.

Butland has lost his way and gone backwards in the last 2 seasons. The injury and being wrapped up in his own profile and how good he thinks he is have taken effect. Having seen the free kick well taken but he didn’t even dive for it. Was he positioned right?

I’m no fan of Butlands tbh but I don’t think that ones on him today.

Also only 4 teams with worse than our minus 4 goal difference, 1 point off relegation. 1 league win out of 7. Just 6 points out of 21.

Having seen the free kick well taken but he didn’t even dive for it. Was he positioned right? No keeper in the world would have saved that free kick today. Butland isn't anywhere near as good as he was pre-injury but stick him being a competent centre half pairing and he'd be fine.

We are defensively, an embarrassment. Today's first goal wouldn't have been acceptable in the City Traders League, ffs.

Only QPR have conceded more than Stoke?!? Gees. Something HAS to be done at the back. If Butland, Shawcross, Pieters and Allen are undropable, then it’s going to make reorganizing quite difficult. Being dropped might be the kick up the arse these players need. Why is Bauer the fall guy? Two dodgy performances and he can’t get in the squad. Something else must have happened...

Chuck Butland in as well. He's been horrendous for 6 months. In fact ALL of our 'big' players can just fuck off. Allen ( ) Absolutely fucking useless the lot of them.

Distribution better, great save in second half and could do nothing with either goal.

I am not in a position to comment on the game overall today as I did not watch it and have only seen the goals/near miss highlights.
I have however been harping on for months that we had the worst defence in the Prem last season and have did next to nothing to improve it, unless you count the late loaning Williams as a step forward. We have addressed the main issue of a holding MF, Woods, who by all accounts played well, but we still have a MF and back line that leaks goals like a sieve.
We can keep blaming the manager, whoever he is, but at the end of the day there is only one common factor which is the players in question. Shawcross has lost it, Indi was inconsistent last season, unlike his first season, and Pieters is not at the races. If Rowett and his coaches doesn't somehow stop the goals conceded, we are going to be in a relegation battle big time to avoid following Wigan, Blackburn, Sunderland and others.

The second goal at WBA and the first one today really are Sunday league defending so no excuse good enough for me there. I still think Shawcross and Indi should be more than good enough for this league, but we certainly need to stop conceding silly goals or they will have to pay the price!
