he absolutely can play cross-field passes. To their fullbacks, yeah. Bore off, talking shite.

Doesn’t get as far forward and doesn’t have the long range shot, but he reminds me of Kav. Agreed, he's a funny looking version of Kav.

His style of play actually reminds me of a young Howard Kendall, for those with long memories!

That was a fantastic captains performance yesterday
I don't know if he actually wears the captains armband ? I didn't notice !!
But he was constantly directing everything around him . Talking to everyone around him . Ordering them where to go .
He was talking the talk and walking the walk , because he was playing brilliantly at the same time
He doesn't just play well , he makes everyone around him play well too
Genuinely impressive . A great player to lead a team .

Remember Ryan Shawcross being exactly the same when he joined.

He's been a breath of fresh air since he's arrived. Only thing worrying me is do we have to sign him in January or is it just an option?
Theres going to be plenty of clubs sniffing around based on these performances.

Loved his skill yesterday when in the second half he was facing his own goal and a back pass seemed the only option, but then he just turned and set off taking us thirty yards up the pitch. It’s said that the sign of a good player is one who always seems to have space and time on the ball....he has loads of both and I think we have a very good player on our hands.

I only listened on the radio today but Nige wasn't to impressed today, what's the thoughts of people who watched the game?

I only listened on the radio today but Nige wasn't to impressed today, what's the thoughts of people who watched the game? Not our worst player today, but too many misplaced passes. Doesn't deserve to lose his place yet though there were others who contributed less.

Rowett will coach the footballer out of him.

Not his best game, but he was still head and shoulders above anyone else. A few uncharacteristic stray passes, and got caught in possession a few times, but fair play to Brum, they didn’t give anyone much time on the ball. Hopefully it was just an off day.

Rowett will coach the footballer out of him. He's playing deeper with each passing game so the process has already started. Allen played as the most advanced player today having done the same against Bolton is arguably one of the most ridiculous managerial decisions possible with the players we have available.

I think people may need to slightly reign in their expectations of the bloke. Brentford weren’t exactly devastated to lose him - probably because they were getting very good money for a decent championship player. In our desperation we have been making him out to be the return of Alan Hudson.

Thought he did Ok , but did get caught with the ball a few times, it's Rowett's tactics to play him so deep . We just slow the game down.

Worst game so far. But why oh why does he play so deep
He’ looks an intelligent footballer with an eye for a good through ball yet he’s almost playing as a sweeper
