The next five games are more than winnable and will help to build a bit of momemtum. Us actually going and doing it is another story.

And therein lies one problem, we are in a losing habit. Hard to shake off but we are capable, I think 6 games is harsh to judge a manager, some fans expect instant success with change but that just doesn't happen, some teams get the new manager bounce some don't. I will judge him at the new year, if we are in the top 10 then anything could happen. We do need a win tomorrow and Tuesday, the feelgood factor will soon creep back, fans will kick in and players then respond. Then again, it could go the opposite way! Heres to a glass half full...............

not only have the best players! Goarrrrn STOKE! From what i've seen so far, the best players in the league are at Villa, Brentford, Leeds, Boro... smattering at Forest and Derby too Just because we have failed ex-PL players, they are not necessarily the best Champs players. Best Champ team seen so far (admittedly some from TV! is out of....) GK: Butland (Us) RB: Dawson (WBA) or Bauer (in form) CB: Ayala (Boro) CB: Cooper (Leeds) or Flint (Boro) LB: Douglas (Leeds) RMF: Phillips (WBA) or Lawrence (Derby) CMF: Sawyers (Brentford) or McGinn (Villa) CMF: Mount (Derby) or Klitch (Leeds) LMF: Watkins (Brentford) AM/sec striker: Saiz (Leeds) or Powell (Wigan) CF: Gayle (WBA) or Maupay (Brentford)

...at the end of the season. And the chances of that being us is....? ;o) Also yesterday we showed for the last 15 minutes that we were the best team when we dared to start playing and have a real go at them. Our aproach to many games is too cowardly in my opinion. Why do we sit back and let other teams peg us back? Let's have a go at them and show we are the superior team as we in fact should be.

Most of our players would struggle in Div1. Unless changes are made soon, they will get the chance to see if the above is true next season.

Excellent post for too long we’ve been thinking about how to stop the opposition rather than how to hurt them ourselves. I can kind of understand when we were playing Man C and Liverpool but not Wigan and Blackburn. If we’re attacking we won’t have to worry about defending.
