Always liked listening to her on 5Live. Great podcast on cancer and death, very brave lady.
Rest in peace Rachael

From what I can gather she was apparently diagnosed 2 years ago, underwent treatment, had another biopsy about 10 days ago and was then told she'd got just days to live.
Terribly sad, but she was incredibly brave about it all and did her utmost to educate, inform and give strength to other fellow sufferers.
RIP to a very brave woman.

I’m a big 5Live listener and always enjoyed listening to her.
She was only 40, and leaves behind her hubby and three-year old son... So sad.
RIP Rachael

Long time 5Live listener, the news genuinely brought tears to my eyes.
She’s wrapped presents for her 3 year old son up his 21st birthday.
Sad, sad news.

Got to say I found the tributes to her today on R5 very moving, bit of a cliché I know, but was celebrating her life, rather than mourning her death. I did have a tear in my eye twice, 1st when they played a recording of her blog where she apologized to her son, and she broke down herself, second was a tear of laughter when they played a clip where she mentioned Randy BumGardener and absolutely lost it completely. Was really moved by her gesture of wrapping 18 presents for her son, 1 for each birthday until he is 21...Very very moving.
RIP
