It's now official Mancini's place at Inter being taken by "The Special One". Jose's back in football. Now for Mancini at Chelsea. My mate reckons it's dead cert, but I can see Mark Hughes being snatched for the job. Inter's site:- www.inter.it/aas/hp?L=en

I'm not convinced by the Inter story.
Mancini has a four year contract to run and when he took over he installed eleven (count em) of his own people in there with equally legthy and very lucritive contracts.
If they get rid of Mancini, they apparently have to pay the other eleven off as well. There would be sod all left for Jose to spend on players this summer!

Five Live were reporting half an hour ago that Mancini has left Inter, and Mourinho will be appointed on Friday.

This is what I've now heard, that Inter's Moratti (President) had agreed the deal for Jose Mourinho over the weekend and director Marco Branca is in Portugal this afternoon finalising personal terms over contract with Jose. The guy I know is good with his info and in a position to know.

Blimey, read this thread and as I have a bit of money sitting in my betfair account thought I would have a dabbble on Mancini as the next chelsea manager. Got on at 11/1. Seems like a few other people might have heard the same info Knowing as within the space of a few minutes, the price as now plummeted to 9/2

Agip Kazakhstan part of ENI. He's known as "Harry the Hatchet" for reasons best known to the HR department in Milano

Thought it might be ENI in Atyrau or in the Tengiz field. I set up a business trip for my gaffer to Kz last year. Said Almaty was a nice place but Atyrau was like the wild west with pissed up roughnecks from all nations brawling with each other in a shithole on the Caspian Sea which was flooded with Italians. He said the number of drunken rough looking Italians made the place look like A Fistful of Dollars... Got some nice rocket fuel booze out of it though! ;D

Not a massive surprise, he was being touted for the job from the moment he left Chelsea.

Glad to see Jose is back in management. Wish it was in the Prem though. I've missed his interviews on MOTD - guess I'll just have to put up with seeing Stoke on there everyweek instead ;D

Mark Hughes is going to Man City, they reckon. He's in talks with the dodgy Thai, anyway. Makes no sense to leave his safe job at Blackburn, and possibly jeopardises his chances of succeeding Fergie one day. But, hey, that's the money-grabbing cesspit of football logic these days.
