Holy shit.

I was talking about this with my dad earlier, the last time I saw us win. I didn't go to Swansea and was sure WBA couldn't be been the last time.
After some severe head-scratching, I eventually teased out of my memory that we beat Huddersfield at the Brit. I'll be absolutely fucked if I can remember anything about the game, though.
Pretty bleak, innit? And quite embarrassing, too.

I was just thinking I have sat through videos of Rowett's last 8 post match press conferences (5 pre-season and 3 Championship) where that funny little man from the clubs official site puts a microphone in his face and says something like 'Gary, your reaction to that?' and I have yet to see what poor old Gazza's winning face looks like !
It's coming though, on Wednesday, surely !!

At the moment it looks like the same old rubbish from last season. Cannot see any difference. Embarrassing to be honest

As someone pointed out on Twitter, Stoke have had more managers (3) than wins (2) in 2018.
However as I'm a stubborn optimist I'm going for the "waiting for the bus" theory with regards our next win, we've waited ages for one then 2 will come along almost at once, Wigan and then Hull.
COYMP!!!!

Christ, this thread got me wondering about my record and it's sobering reading. I only get to games in little batches every season or two at best, due to exile... on my last two mid-season visits I've seen five Prem games and we lost every one of them, scoring one goal in the process (Geff Cam at Arsenal in 2013). The last league game I saw us win was 3rd March 2012 (Norwich 1-0). And since we thrashed Bolton in the cup semi I've been to ten games, the record is P10 W2 D1 L7 F5 A12. So count yourselves lucky!

I think it was the Huddersfield game for me. Was this our last win at home ?
I recall a Huddersfield supporter coming on here and saying our support was fantastic. The crowd for all our moans and groans tried their best to boost the team.
Wigan tomorrow is the start of our return !!!π

I've had to have hypnotherapy to regress and delve deep into my subconscious mind. Apparently I was at the Huddersfield game.

To widen the thread slightly, when was the last time we saw more than one or even any goal scored by Stoke at the Boothen End ?
Donβt know how to look the Stats up but it seems to me that the vast majority of goals get scored at the Other End for some time now.

Smiilar for me. Mine was West Brom away at the 2014 season final game. We are indeed shite.

mine was Huddersfield, seems like a life time ago. Yup, Huddersfield- the worst looking team we'd come up against on 20th January. The last false spark of hope. Fucking January, that's Sunderland form.
