I thought he was about our best player (EDIT- in the first half) yesterday. On the few occasions that we actually linked some play up he was usually at the heart of it. He wanted the ball and tried to make things happen. I am amazed there are people on here agreeing with you . It just goes to show football his truly a game of opinions .
He DIDN'T make anything happen . Crouch did.
It is madness to try and fit in a striker into your team , who never scores .Why would you want to do that ?
Crouch , at 37 , is absolutely totally past it , and he still has 3 goals in his last 5 away games for stoke . Afobe has 2 goals this season , and he has only been here 5 minutes .
There are no takers , in the entire football league , for a striker who hasn't scored in over two years , and even then scored after going 4 months without a goal .
Why would we want him playing for us ? if nobody else wants him ?
He is so bad , we can't even loan him to a team in Scotland
I thought he had a better game than Crouch.

By the fundamental laws of nature and physics he will score, sometime, if played. I still he is shit by the way.

Good job GR is in charge then and he subbed him off for crouchy It was his best performance , but that's like saying the new asda smart price pizza , is their best smart price pizza yet . 37 year old crouchy was more use than berahino ( again ) That’s bollocks, sorry. Berahino played really well, but didn’t score. Crouch was poor, but scored with his 1st touch. Luck has a lot to do with it, and Berahino has none. . Can you define luck? Crouch seems to have had plenty of luck, whatever that is, for the past 20. years.

Crouch seems to have had plenty of luck, whatever that is, for the past 20. years. Berahino- beats his man to the cross, under pressure, and a bullet header hits the keeper full in the chest, without him being aware of where the ball was. Crouch - gets turned the wrong way round at the corner, ball hits the back of his head and goes in. That’s the point I’m making.
