Saying it and getting shot in a way that gives us wriggle room to bring players in are two different things though.....

As Percy articles go, that's more of a shoulder shrug than anything else.
Everything in there seems pretty obvious.
The only mild surprise is supposed top-flight continental interest in Cameron.
We've wanted rid of those 4 and a few more all summer, and we've had no decent bites by the looks of it

Here's hoping though, but can't help but feel Imbula will get another shit loan and Choupo will just leech us from us if he can't get a move to the high standards that he so desires.

Makes me laugh this type of article.
Think the most important thing is who the fudge wants them ... It's a question if you could even give them away and pay half their wages.

Bit surprised Cameron has been told he can leave, especially with how poor we’ve been in midfield defensive wise. They must have someone in mind for that role. Not surprised with the others to be honest.

I think Cameron will be easy enough, Adam will end up at Championship standard or below or Scotland which means the loaning team will contribute very little, Imbula will end up abroad with against us subsidising his wage heavily. Choupo-Moting would have plenty of interest I’m sure but would he be prepared to take a wage drop to play football regularly?

From what i´ve seen of the championship Charlie Adam just is not fit enough to get a game. We will not be able to move him unless we pay his wages or he takes a substantial pay cut.
Given our defensive frailties I would surprised to see Cameron leave. If the current starters don´t show massive improvement Cameron is our best option for CB and DCM.
No one at the club seems able to solve the Imbula problem. Have we tried professional sports psychologists? If we are not going to persevere get rid as soon as possible. Accept that there will be a large financial loss.
Choupo should be playing. He is by far our best option for left side in a 433. If he refuses to play, fine him and stick him with the youth team, let him know we are prepared to let him waste the last few years of his career. I know this is another financial loss but I think we have to take a stand. If he wants to leave he needs to convince someone to pay for his services.

Why would Choupo Moting be taking a wage cut when we'd still be paying his wages? Because teams will want him on a permanent deal, we’d have to make a “loyalty” (snigger) payment to make up the shortfall. Whatever we think of him I think he’ll be a player of interest abroad....

Whilst I agree Choupo-Moting would add to the team the fact that he’s been banished to train with the under 23’s shows there’s an issue between player and manager. To what extent nobody knows....

"Free to leave" Is that a polite way of telling them he won't be selecting them so if they want to play football this year they'd better get their agents on the case quick smart? Otherwise I suppose they are quite entitled to just 'sit' and count Peter's pound notes. Either way it's a great shame, Imbula and Choupo at least still have the capability to greatly improve our team.

He’s never been banished to train with the kids before though. Not easy living somewhere you probably don’t want to live, and working somewhere you don’t want to work at for 2 years when there’s an escape route out......

that gives us room to bring players in Is it because: 1) We can't afford to pay wages both to players who play regularly, and to those who are never/seldom even on the bench? Have the executives somewhere actually expressed that, or is just how we can feel as fans when it comes to running a business? 2) We can bring players in at last, because there are rules saying you can as club as a maximum have, let's say, "30 players in a squad"? 3) Moaning players affect the whole group?

Has Choupo actually said that he wants to leave or that he won't play for us, I haven't seen him quoted anywhere. Is it just a personality clash with GR?
I still think Choupo would be an asset in the Championship for us.

Well I'm not surprised at all but we should have been able to sell him.

We’ve had numerous fans demanding a cull.
It seems this is the list.
We don’t know what goes on behind the scenes and/or at training
Hopefully we can shift them somehow and move forward with some new faces

Out of all of them I’d keep Geoff if I had to. Nearest thing to a defensive midfielder we have.

Like others here I find it very odd that Cameron wasn’t considered a fairly important player in current circumstances. The only logical explanation is that he wants to go.
Charlie in theory is just what we need - someone who can pick a pass and can chip in with a few goals. Problem is it doesn’t look like the opposition are going to give him the time to do it!

What a tragic waste of money

The Brentford keeper spent so much time wandering about outside the 18 yard box on Saturday, Charlie would have had a hat-trick without breaking into a trot.
