Brian Moore's head looks uncannily like London planetarium.

I really believe that Edwards and Sorensen should be given a chance. They're young, uninhibited by the failure of relegation, desperate to move their careers forward and can't be any effing worse than some of the other hungover, lethargic' can't- get- over- our- situationers' I know Moritz likes to play in his favourite position but you don't always get what you want and he maybe of more use used a la Lambert. He'll stop moaning if the results come our way.We need an injection of youthful enthusiasm and I'd like to see Berahino and Campbell 'getting to know' Afobe more. Wouldn't it be wonderful to have a great front two with fantastic understanding banging in the goals? Well, we wont know if we don't try! plua there's this feckin' 433 obscession nowadays.

A few months ago 80% of this board were ecstatic with Allen staying and shot down anyone who suggested his arrival at Stoke started our downfall.
A few months later and 80% of this board have realised what a useless nothing player he is. Yet politically he will play every game he’s fit and will continue to lead the way along with a few others in the ever progressing downfall of Stoke Bloody City.
Cheers Xavi.

I'm just hoping we can pull it together and he doesn't cause too many problems when we have a settled midfield, its probably too much to hope he doesn't get picked.

I just can’t see how he will be dropped, he is the big name and a big deal was made nationwide about him staying. His reputation far outweighs his ability. Regardless of whether he’s a nice guy or not, he’s a massive issue. No matter what league you play in, if you leave acres of space in midfield then teams will abuse it.

Would much rather see Sorensen and Campbell in and around the squad than the likes of Fletcher, Berahino and Diouf. In fact, I think they are what we need at the moment - a bit of youthful enthusiasm and raw directness could rub off on those around them at the moment

I edited decent to settled for obvious reasons But you're right, if it wasn't for that Euros his reputation would be next to nothing.

Didn’t think Fletcher was the worst today by a long shot. Pieters was utterly shit and Brentford targeted him second half after he got booked. He was like a headless chicken. McClean was poor again, Jack made a brilliant save but can’t kick the ball to one of his own players, ever. Too many players went missing second half.
I do agree that more youth would be nice to see and it could sharpen things up, add some hunger to the team. Our opponents seems to have youth and energy but most of our squad resemble a bunch of old crocks wearing lead boots in a swamp.

This reminds me of the ‘Campbell please’ threads we had last season. We’re really that desperate already
