I had to listen to the game on the car radio, it sounded like we barely got a kick of the ball and the outcome was that we got absolutely rinsed.
World War 3 breaking out on here kind of gives the same impression.
I expected to see this backed up with the numbers but the BBC shows an even-stevens kind of a game ultimately won by our defensive errors and Jack's lunatic decision to push another one in to his own net when he could have thrown his cap on the ball.
Leeds - Stoke Poesssion 52% - 48% Shots 11 - 9 Shots on target 5 - 5 Corners 3 - 3 Fouls 14 - 8
Ordinarily as the away side you hope to get something with stats like that, I have seen teams win with much, much worse. Maybe we should have fouled them a bit more, with some proper concentration we should still have got something out of this game I would suggest.
Yes I wasn't there. tin hat on!

The big difference was when they had the ball they looked sharp and on the front foot whereas we slowed down killing the tempo, allowing them to regroup and then resorting to too many long balls even before Crouch came on. 3-1 did not flatter them.

The BBC didn't include the effort stat then Leeds 100% Stoke 25% (and that's being generous) I look at stats on games that i haven't watched (well I did when we were in the Premier League) just to try and see how games went etc, but the stats for our game don't tell the real story The real story was, we were tactically outclassed, completely and utterly over run, out fought, out battled, and they could have had 5 or 6 goals. We looked MUCH better when Bojan & Crouch came on, and i'd suggest most of our 'stats' were clocked up in that final 10 minutes or so. Make no mistake Gods, we were terrible and if we're going to get promoted, we have to improve 10 fold

That's very interesting Gods. First goal for Leeds dire by peiters (as usual) second goal blunder by Butland ( why hes still at stoke) . Our goal a penalty due to hard work from Ince ( could have great season).Well taken by Afobe 1 in 1. (lets hope he gets better service.) Leeds third goal set piece well taken. We hit the bar and had 2 shots blocked on the line. Should have finished 2-2 with a bit of luck but Leeds just edged it.
