Yep, at 11pm. Left the house at 8am and was working till 4am as well.
That performance and result was identical to coventry. Played off the park, no pressure, no creativity, absolutely nothing. This should of been sorted in pre season, and as i said a few weeks back, pre season friendlies may mean nothing but if you aren't not doing the basics right its never going to end well.
Even after we scored from a penalty we still had no idea what to do - exactly the same at the ricoh in the cup last year.
Rowett has some serious work to do in the next week too get about 4/5 players in, we simply cant continue playing like that or we shall be down in league 1 before we know it. Afobe was non existent.. playing up there on his own with 3 defensive midfielders behind him in the form of badou, allen and etebo was absolutely embarrassing from rowett's point of view. How on earth he couldnt see it wasn't gonna work from the start i don't know.
Shawcross has absolutely had it. All he does is launch with some backspin up to the opponents half and hopes for a flick on, offers nothing and too slow to defend. Bauer was non existent today.
Thought tom ince did ok and McClean by far out best player. Put alot of graft in and chased everything he could.
Crouch and bojan coming on definitely helped & improved us, but why on earth you chose to bring darren fletcher on when you are chasing a game away from home... the mind boggles.
PS - how did wolves play / what formation did they use when playing afobe? Surely they weren't playing one up top?

Sorry you had to endure it. It was painful enough watching it on telly

I too have just got off the train at Stoke Station, nigh on £200 lighter and thoroughly pissed off.
Fucking shower of red and white bastards.
Sort it out Gary/Peter/Tony/The Ghost of Alan Ball, or else I'll be throwing hot coffee in all of your faces at a lower league football ground in the not too distant future.

The thing that gripes me the most is that it wasn't even competitive. It was simply like a training game for leeds

I’m absolutely fuming, honestly we’ve got no heart and desire in that team. They’ll come out and spout some bollocks on the Stoke site and YouTube in midweek but it will just be meaningless words again. All talk, saying they need to do this and that but no action.

I would say that's as bad as anything we had under Hughes, and if you know the gift you know he absolutely hates Mark Hughes.

We lost against a team not playing an actual striker. Roofe is an attacking midfielder essentially. What Leeds did was support him with Saiz, Alioski and Hernandez when they attacked and had two strong, competitive DMs sat in there. Their two full backs were good in defence and going forward...better than our two. We had McClean and Ince stuck out wide and no-one from midfield supporting Afobe. Other than that, it couldn't have gone better.

We looked and played like a shell shocked team. The scars of last year were easily opened up. Need a leader on the pitch who is prepared to put a challenge in and lead by example. When your leader has his head down and cam barely move any more it's hardly going to inspire anyone.

I`ll repeat what I put on another thread..... give some credit to Leeds lads, they were exceptional from the first whistle to the last and, although we made it easy for them in parts, they would have beaten better sides than Stoke yesterday by my reckoning

I went as well
Re Fletcher, was gob smacked when he came in however perhaps because Leeds intensity had dropped off I thought he did all right.
Certainly superior to Badou,Allen and Etebo.
