This has to be a joke, an initial loan for 34 year old. Yes let's sign a 35 year old who was already slow and pretty crap when he was younger. Are we trying for the worst signing ever prize. I think we already won that with Wimmer !!!!! Think I would prefer wimmer to Williams fek I would rather have wollshite, what is it with defenders who's name begins with w being wank?

This is a bit of an overreaction to an experienced head coming in to the dressing room to provide cover for our first choice CB's.

You couldn't doubt Williams mentality or quality, but has he got a full good season in him? Loan would allow for a better assessment.

I'd hope it was a season loan only. If so, more than happy to have him along.

Don't know but he played 60 times for Everton in the last 2 seasons in the Premier League so I am not quite sure why many folks have made up their minds that he is on his last legs. I'd much prefer Ryan and BMI + Williams to Ryan and BMI + either some callow youth like Souttar of GCam covering on a hobby job basis.

Yes played the euros and world cup qualifiers, I would have him in the squad, I suppose he would be worth the risk maybe, we only need him for the season don't we. What we don't want though is injured players again!! Its never easy is it!

Williams and £20 million and his Premiership wages being paid up is the most conservative deal I can think and then only if Williams would accept a single years contract......anything else and we've been ripped off yet again!

You are aware Everton have no interest in Badou? Well it's all hypothetical because we know the pizza boys couldn't sell bargain ice lollies in the desert could they.
