Harry Hill as got as much chance. Oh, I'm sorry did he also win the Golden Boot at the World Cup?

This is not Ballon d'Or, it's FIFA best player. Ballon d'Or is around December time at the end of the year.
Got to be Guardiola for manager of the year, broken every record and the best team the Premier League has ever seen. How Sean Dyche is not there but Southgate is after beating a load of mediocre teams to get to the Semi's is crazy.

Harry Hill as got as much chance. Oh, I'm sorry did he also win the Golden Boot at the World Cup? No. It was an attempt at humour alluding to the fact that he's got no chance. It would be an absolute travesty if he did.

Harry Hill as got as much chance. Oh, I'm sorry did he also win the Golden Boot at the World Cup? He did but that is a 100% objective award based on number of goals scored. The Balloon Door is basically a popularity contest.

It's usually given to a player in the World Cup year that was outstanding in said tournament.
So out of all of them Luka Modric is probably the one.
He can add the Champions League to his application too.
Messi and Ronaldo had great seasons number wise and one won the league, the other the Champions League. But I don't think it's been vintage from either of them (compared to other years for them).
Salah and Kane had great years but won naff all.

I would say Salah, or Kane myself being PL biased but this year Modric was world class in the WC and deserves it tbh.

Dragged an average (by their standards) Barcelona team to a 14 point lead at the top of the table and 17 points above Real. Invincible until they dropped him in the last game to make sure he was fit for a friendly in the middle east (£££).

Your last sentence sums the state that club is in at the minute! $$$ taken over the glory of an unbeaten season which imo beats winning the Champions League.

He'd already saved the day against Seville. They've let him down over the last few years.
