Sounds like a GCam replacement, only with a bit more quality. Would also afford us the option to play with 3 at the back if needed, but I would personally see him as the enforcer behind Allen and Etebo.

Hopefully he wants to come back to the north west.

If we want him, we'll just click our fingers and get him.

Presumably he would've lived in Cheshire during the 5 years he was at Man United, so that'll probably stand us in good stead.

If we want him, we'll just click our fingers and get him. You'd think so; I guess it will also depend on how GR has sold /explained the MF working here - i.e. where he would slot in and his chances of cementing a place.
Old VT has probably spun him a yarn though about him playing in his ideal MF role week in, week out whereas we all know he'll just play him @ left back.

I hope he comes here, would he even have to move from where he lives currently if he chose 'Borough? You'd think we are the more tempting offer when it comes to the prospect of future Prem league football

I would have thought it pretty much boils down to logistics, is he settled in the North East or does he want to be back in the North West and closer to Northern Ireland, wage wise I would imagine both will offer a similar wage?
McNair in and Cameron and Fletcher out would be decent business....

He’s not a bad player by any means. What’s his best position? He's a utility player. It's written in law that he must be a jack of all trades, master of none.....

Fuck playing in the TP cage...get yourself down Stoke.
Out of interest, if we out-bidded Boro after their bid was accepted could Boro retract?

You would think we’ve spoken to his agent to see if he would be interested, before putting the bid in.

It’s all about wether he’d be happy playing left wing at Boro or his natural position at Stoke

Let’s bid for Flint and Besic as well, Tone would have a complete meltdown.

You would think we’ve spoken to his agent to see if he would be interested, before putting the bid in. Correct Presumably though, even if he's not interested in us he can use our interest in him to increase his wage demands.

I'd like to see at least one ball player in the middle if we could wangle it.

He’s not a bad player by any means. What’s his best position? Centre midfield, he is not strong enough to be a centre back or quick enough to be a full back. His best attributes are his stamina, composure on the ball & passing. All god attributes for a CM.

All god attributes for a CM. 90% of that sounds exactly like Geoff Cameron apart from the composure and passing
