I think we could surprise a few against Belgium. Their back 3 is slow and will not deal with a combination of Vardy, Rashford, Lingard and Sterling for 90 minutes. Lukaku has started well, but if club football is anything to go by, he struggles against good defenders. Maybe he does but England don't have any

Great going forwards - but Jeez the back players need to get it together before we face a decent opponent. Going to be v interesting against Belgium, but expect them to score at least 1 from a mistake unless we tighten up. Preferred line up as below - Feel Dier is a bit more solid and can step forward with better balls from the back. Rose could offer a bit more than Young and Sterling wasn't really in it today - so Rashford gets a go. See no reason to replace Loftus Cheek with Ali. Very impressed so far with Henderson's passing and Tripper's all round game. Pickford Trippier Walker Stones Dier Rose Henderston Loftus-Cheek
Lingaard Kane RashfordRather have Cahill there than dier

Sterling and Young have to be dropped for next game both offered very little past two games Was very impressed with Loftus Cheek Pickford Walker Stones Maguire Trippier Henderson Loftus-Cheek Rose Lingard Rashford Kane Loftus Cheek was the cause of the free kick that gave them the goal. I'm not impressed, he makes mistakes all over the place, and not just this game. Review his other performances. True, but defenders switched off at the free kick. More generally, they again gave the ball away again a couple of times in dangerous positions and looked fragile, but were just not punished. They are the worry for me. Bring in Dier for Maguire and Rose for Young.

We are now ahead of Belgium on goal difference, with the same goals scored. Need to shut Panama out now or match them goal for goal for the rest of the match. Do you no realise that finishing top would most probably give much harder knockout fixtures I'd not consulted my wall chart at the time, so yes, that could mean Brazil it the quarters... I was it was thinking t'other way round. Whoops...

Butland Trippier Walker Stones Maguire Young Henderson Dier Alli Kane Rashford
I thought Pickford looked worried last game, but i suppose it's fair considering he's hardly had anything to do. Rose was very meh. Young looked better. RLC is a good player but not as good as Alli. Rashford is twice the player of Sterling and perfect on the break.

John Stones second goal proved my point perfectly, should have been a Stirling goal but he had no end product Point proven beyond any doubt , overwhelming evidence *Ahem* Any more evidence needed? π€
