That sounds dodgy as fuck. It might all be true, but I can't help wonder if it's another case of slapper's remorse.

Mental story aside, my brain can't see the word Charlton anymore without a booming, Brian Blessed style voice shouting 'BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR'

If it happened. bang them up
If it's just a simple sausage fest and the bird has essentially cried rape after finding out they're footballers then she should be locked up

"Forwards Reeco Hackett-Fairchild, 20, and Karlan Ahearne-Grant, also 20"
On a side note how come over 40% of kids have a double-barreled name these days?
Such names used to be the preserve of a certain kind of posh person.
Perhaps it's been an exchange with tattoos which have gone the other way?
Either way it must make life difficult for inner city teachers, reading out the school register must take for ever!!

Always stinks to me when girls agree to back to hotels. I’m not condoning rape in any way but don’t put yourself in a position like that. Surely they knew what they were going back the hotel for.

Why go back to someones hotel bedroom if you don't want sex? can someone not change their mind once they are there? Of course they can. Some of the contributions to this thread illustrate the problem about sexual violence, in that far too often there are attempts to blame the victim because of where they were, what they were wearing, whether they had a drink etc. The principle and the issue is simple, if there is no consent to sex, and it is physically forced, it is rape, whatever a previous intention might have been or whatever the accused might have assumed from the fact that someone came to their bedroom or anywhere else. Deciding what actually happened in that room may of course be anything but simple for a court. Certainly none of us on here know what happened. But it is quite wrong to somehow blame the alleged victim and making prejudgements on a public forum because they were in a bedroom.

As you suggest, it is utterly pointless speculating about what did or didn't happen on this occasion, because none of us knows. But the general point really is that straightforward. Consent can be withdrawn at any point. Part of the problem in my opinion is the term "sexual violence". More helpful to call it what it is - "violence" - which in general pretty much everybody understands to be unjustified (and indeed illegal).

But what I do think needs changing is that everyone should be anonymous until it's been to court and a judgement has been made.

Why go back to someones hotel bedroom if you don't want sex? Perhaps she was up for sex with one of the blokes but the three of them forced themselves on her with one holding her down and another one filming. Perhaps she wasn’t up for that? If one of them was filming they should have the exact footage to prove if she was compliant or not. If the film shows her being held down whilst being distressed they deserve locking up for life the scumbags. By the same token, if it shows her completely up for it she deserves a stint in the nick too. But a girl going back to someone’s room doesn’t automatically mean she’s up for a group sex session whilst being filmed. Some of these young football types think they can do what they want.

Original story a couple of days ago (albeit in the same shit rag) said 3 blokes involved 1 held her down whilst one raped her and one filmed it. 2 if the 3 have been held over there with the 3rd allowed to leave the country but has to report to the Spanish embassy in London every fortnight. www.thesun.co.uk/news/6515750/two-british-professional-footballers-arrested-ibiza-suspicion-sex-assault-teenage-tourist/Sounds to me like there may be video evidence of this. Hopefully so and they rot in prison. The fact 2 have been held (holder and rapist) and one released (filming) raises a lot of suspicion. Who knows though as in the Spanish system indictments are only issued just before the trial. Innocent til proven guilty but doesn’t look good. Some of the folks on here need to think about their wives/girlfriends/daughters before they post. Not everyone is a money grabbing story selling tart.
