Wikipedia already have him as a Stoke player 13 full international caps, plus 16 at U23 level Hopefully eligible for a work permit needed I'm assuming the work permit has already been sorted otherwise the announcement would have said "subject to a work permit" Stoke City & Work Permits...as Jeremy Clarkson would say "How hard can it be?"

If he's got 2 left feet we've signed a serious upgrade I wonder if you could walk with 2 left feet, or would you just go in circles ? Spend a fortune in shoes much easier to nick a pair from outside the shoe shop.

Looks like he’s got a good powerful shot. Could be a strong player for us.

Never saw this coming but reckon he's the one we would have signed if Badou had've turned us down. Looks to have what we need now keep it rolling with 2 fast and tricky wingers and 2 goalscorers please.
Then we may need a Butland replacement but otherwise starting to feel a positive vibe...………….can't wait to get my firm buttocks back into my seat in block 12 of the Q railings….fuck the world cup!

Does he have $32 million in the bank he will share with me if I send him £1000?
I'm waiting for his email.

Same agent as Badou. That's how it's come about then. Badou to Galatasary on loan now fits. Gala can't afford £14m to £20m fee but can afford £2m loan fee and his wages (or most likely the same wages he was on before with Stoke paying the rest). Problem was Stoke were banking in Badou £14m to £20m to fund a replacement. Instead we have to find £5m (fee for Ramadan) and we pay very low wages for Peter E.
If he's any good then everyone wins (not least the agents) If Stoke go up we end up with two decent busy bees in midfield (well three counting Allen).
Good business?

It's fucking weird seeing fans of long time under achievers like Leeds or Sheff United moaning about us spending all this money. It's fucking peanuts! We don't bat an eyelid at signing shit for 18m!

Where were the ITK on this one After bagging a tidy goal last night, Darren Bent has appeared back on our radar. A free transfer that will get the city rocking, no doubt about it.

To be fair to them it was us saying the same over 10 years ago. It's a long time out of the top division and you soon (worryingly) get used to shelling away 15M+ on garbage when you've been in it for 10 years.

Only concern, sent on loan and his manager doesn’t see him as part of his plans. 22 year old international. Sorry to be negative, but something seems amiss. Hope I’m just nervy because of previous transfers. Also, 5 years seems long. Looking forward to watching him in the World Cup. Hope this turns out ok.

According to a couple of Nigerian/Portuguese posters on Twitter he was sent on loan to put him in the shop window as his team we’re skint and needed the money....

Because (it would appear) the player doesn't want to play at Championship level but the club want to keep him for the Premier League 2019-20 season. Money wise it makes sense.

Hopefully, that will happen after this season so badou then returns from his Gala loan and we will have RETAINED a very good player for our Prem resurgence. Simples

Don't cut off your nose to spite your face etc etc? On a positive note, can we refer, in future, to 'WHEN' we get back not 'IF'

This is how all our transfer business should be conducted nobody outside the club other than those actively involved should know anything until the business is completed.
