Bring back pipe smoking. My grandad was a master. Two world wars and he got to 93. Rubbed his own tobacco, he could keep that thing going for hours.

Bring back pipe smoking. My grandad was a master. Two world wars and he got to 93. Rubbed his own tobacco, he could keep that thing going for hours. I used to rub my grandads Digger tobacco in a newspaper them stuff it in his pouch . There's probably a law against it now My dad smoked Condor and I have his silver baccy knife similar to this. I went to Malta with my parents in the 80s and saw the wreck in the Bay etc during the Filming..it is now a tourism attraction although not like it was back then. Used to love watching it. Don't know when or why his oppo's name changed to Brutus (I know it did in later programmes) as I recall his name originally having been Bluto.(A marvellous one of which we used to have in our full-back line. )
