Bunch of fucking headcases. Trying to use 'science' when they don't have a single clue between them. So the ISS is really a Hollywood studio and if it is real they should 'zoom out and so us planes flying upside down and people walking upside down' in the Southern hemisphere. And apparently 'scientists themselves have said you need to be 50miles up to see the curvature of the horizon'. The mind truly boggles at these nutters. I don't know whether to laugh at them or pity them.
On another note though, Holly Willoughby is fucking perfect.

I look up in the sky......I see a round Moon and a round Sun....so, the Earth must be flat. Go to the ocean and watch a ship heading out to sea.....eventually, it seems to slowly disappear as it rounds the curve of the Earth.....how strange, it didn't reach the edge and plummet off into outer space

It's unbelievable that people actually believe this sort of stuff, and even more so that they are willing to publicly air their views. How can they just ignore or dismiss all the visual evidence, physical measurements, and all other supporting data yet still apparently firmly believe their crackpot notion.

Open mind.
I'm less convinced by the idea of a tilted spinning ball, rotating at 7,000mph, hurtling through space in a locked-in dance with the other 'celestial' bodies. Yet still only ever see one view of the moon. Gravity is still yet to be proven/witnessed, yet it's the only thing that makes the globe earth idea work. It's what we've been told, not what we see or experience for ourselves. Common sense and the rules of physics and motion suggests we're on a plane of some description. There has never been any footage ever of the Earth spinning, just stills through round windows. Why are all the photos from space composites? why are there no photos of the thousands of satellites supposedly between MIR and here {again just computer graphics}. How come satellites launched in the 70's are now used for beaming t'internet.. it wasn't conceived when they were launched. Why havn't we gone back to the moon? I don't for a minute think the sun is 93 million miles away.
Far more questions than answers with our current model of how it all works. Fascinating stuff and I applaud anything which encourages more space transparency.

I don't for a minute think the sun is 93 million miles away. Far more questions than answers with our current model of how it all works. Fascinating stuff and I applaud anything which encourages more space transparency. Gravity has been observed and measured, it's there. Gravitational waves, the immense gravity surrounding black holes, the Gallileo gravity experiment (performed on the moon), the nature of Jupiter's gravity altering the orbit of bodies around it etc. The Moon is tidally locked to the Earth that's why we only see one side (this is driven by gravity), the long term interaction of Earth's greater mass and gravity has caused the Moon to have a rotational rate with no greater momentum than the Earth's so essentially it spins as quickly as it orbits the Earth, this phenomenon has been observed elsewhere in the Galaxy, namely our nearest neighbour, Proxima Centuri. Earth takes 24 hours to spin on its axis right? You ask why there's not footage of it spinning? Because the only way to make it observable is though time lapse, which is what has been demonstrated time and time again, if you want to launch a geosyncrous probe and watch it for a full 24 hours please go ahead! flatearthlunacy.com/index.php/2-uncategorised/493-non-composite-images-of-the-earth-from-space Here's a collection of non-composite photos of Earth taken from the moon and not from round windows. There's around 5000 man made probes orbiting the Earth, the reason we don't have photos of them is because you'd need the space equivlent of a microscope to see them from a position where you could capture the whole Earth, in the same way you can't see the millions of bacteria on your arm when trying to capture an image of the whole arm. What evidence do you have contrary to well documented observations and calculations that the Sun is 93 million miles away? This was first successfully done by Cassini in the 17th century by using simultaneous observations of Mars from separate point and using "Parallax" measurements. We then used Radar waves to detect the distance to Venus and confirmed this measurement in 1961.

Has anyone bothered to ask the folk that live right on the outer edge? There must be millions of people living perilously close to oblivion.
Like those people on the south coast , who live in fear that one morning, they'll wake up, and rock erosion turned their bungalow into a boat.

Why does the sun only come out during the day when itβs light anyway. Much more useful if it came out at night

I've watched a few flat earth Youtube vidoes, and the theory goes is that the maps of the Earth we know is a lie, and the world actually very similar to the one the UN use in there logo (top down from the North Pole). They treat the presence of the UN logo as proof of the lie/conspiracy. As for the end of the earth, it's at the South Pole (which goes around the circumference of the flat disc-like world).
Those brave enough to travel to the edge of the world have mysteriously never returned...

As a former mathematician & physicist (& sometime philosopher) in my long-distant past, I say nothing can be proven & nothing can be disproven.
Even basic maths is a construct - who says 1 + 1 = 2 ? Try proving it without assuming that it's correct & creating a circular argument. So everything built on maths, and hence physics, is potentially a fallacy.
Do we even exist? Descartes' existentialism etc. "I think therefore I am"? Burger off Rene, everything and everyone is a figment of my imagination, including you ***
Maths can certainly be beautiful, though. Imaginary numbers (square root of -1 etc.) are insane and marvellous. Our theories on electromagnetism, Laplace transforms etc. all hinge on this and are stunning. Chaos theory and fractals too, which are amazing - check out Mandelbrot plots. Lovely.
But it's a generally accepted axiom that the more strings anyone has to pull to make their theory fit, the more unlikely it is to be true. So flat earthers to me are loons.
Anyway, pass me that bottle, Aristotle, I'm parched.
*** I apologise unreservedly for creating Benji Biscuit, Rolf Harris & Hitler. I'm a sick puppy.
