Probably his true level. All the best, Lambo.

That's his level hence why it was always a dreadful appointment.

I hope he gets it and wish him well
Who seriously couldn’t do anything other than that ?

And this is why he couldn’t believe his luck that a premier league club were mental enough to offer him a job.

Weird 15 game cameo he had for us wasn't it? I'm still not sure how history will judge it.
Started with a win against Huddersfield and finished with a win at Swansea but for all the huffing and puffing in the 13 games in between no wins at all.
It seemed we would win at Bournemouth for 70 minutes, we should have beaten Brighton at the death were it not for penalty-gate, we were going to win at Leicester until Jack inexplicably threw one in his own net and it looked like we had won at West Ham as the clock ticked up to 90 minutes but it wasn't to be.
Was he unlucky? I think he perhaps was to a certain extent, but it wasn't an unlucky manager we needed.
I wish him well at St Mirren, he tried his best, that much is not in doubt.

Good luck to the bloke.
Not great tactically but seems like a decent coach. Never in doubt that he gave his all to the job.

It was Bayern if we are talking about team selection, subs and tactics The off the field stuff he was just what we needed though

It was Bayern if we are talking about team selection, subs and tactics The off the field stuff he was just what we needed though I solely meant appointing him. He was a dreadful manager who hasn't got much of a clue. I disagree with the off field stuff too. But that's by the by.

I wish him two strikers.
It's always hard to work with half a team.

History will judge it as a moment of utter madness that got us relegated.
St mirren. I've been there. That is a different planet. It's like he's dropped to the fourth tier

I wonder if he knows the people of St Mirren well and has an “in-depth” knowledge of their playing squad.

There was something about Lambo I liked- he did some good work, sorting out the discipline issues and identifying who the trouble-makers were, but was so tactically clueless that it was impossible to keep him.
He did have some rotten luck, but managers who play their best right back on the left wing to accommodate Glen Johnson aren't unlucky, they're just shit.
He'll probably do alright somewhere where expectations are pretty low and you can get a few results just by organising a defence.

Probably a good place for him to carry on as a manager as his stock will currently be trading low. Good luck to him.

Its not Lamberts fault we were in serious trouble before he came. The damage wa already done. The board are to blame for this for not getting rid of Mark Hughes soon enough. Good Luck Paul

Might be his level. Which goes to show what a car crash decision it was to appoint him. What were the board thinking? He is heading for the file marked failed managers along with the likes of Owen Coyle. He will quite rightly go down as one of the worse managers in SCFC history and part of the reasons for being relegated. But by all accounts he was a great bloke so that's ok.

I reckon he will do alright there - but the standard of football outside Celtic (and at a push Aberdeen and Rangers) is bottom half of league 2 standard.
